paul. same **** happened to me last week. if my car was black. i would no longer have an ss.

zach. from 40-130 my car hits 1350 degree's. if that sometimes. then again, im not running that aggressive of a tune right now.

stay below 1500 at the traps in the 1/4 mile to make it live

x2 mine shuts down automatically if i go over 1500 egt.

good advice area gives. although people with methanol can just up the mix ratio from 50/50 to 60/40 or 70/30 without touching the tune. Also warm the car up to operating temperature (180) before WOT runs. EG on the work drive like an old lady til the temp is right. Our aluminum blocks are not very forgiving to warpage transitioning from cold to hot quickly.

I believe that is what killed my sleeves.

sleeves and head are the most prone to the destruction of the temp change.

i just wait until my engine is @ 180 degrees too push her other than that i put zero load on the motor actually i don't even think i go over -05 vac
