Lysholm 1.6 Twinscrew - En route to power!
Ok well then school me! So what you're saying is there are turbo setups outhere with ZERO boost lag? You claim to know something about me, so then you would know that I admit when I am proven wrong. So.... prove me wrong. And I've only got in a big debate (on css.net) and been proven wrong ONE time. If I got one thing wrong and that, to you, proves my lack of knowledge because of ONE time/ ONE debate (about how our IC system operates) then whatever, prove me wrong.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with this....
No one ever wants to build the motor up correctly from the start with these larger blowers (TVS & Twinscrew options). Yes, you can make decent power on a stock block and head with some tuning knowledge & the proper octane but.... for all out power you will need to get into some engine work. If I were to purchase one of these blowers, I would build my engine first following the GM LSJ build book. Then I would slap the blower on, get it tuned, and enjoy.

Not to stir the pot but he does have a valid point. The EFR's will give you almost instant boost response, and full boost, not revving higher and higher to get full boost and power.
Still in for the graphs
When a SC boosts instantly, it doesnt make peak power instantly, right? A turbo setup will make a lot more power and tq a lot faster, but they serve different purposes for different needs. So no need to compare the 2. People are after SC for a different reason people are after Turbo Setups. Im just agreeing with self that the myth about waiting for boost and **** like that is just that, a myth. A properly sized turbo will respond immediately.

I'm in the process of working on my engine, and there are def things left out in the build book.
It is def a great guide though.

We all know Turbos having gotten a lot less laggy but they still can't touch a Supercharger.
Supercharger boost is instant and travels about 6" to the head.
Turbocharger boost is slower and has to travel several feet to get from the Turbo outlet to the head.
I think that was one of contributing factors to the failure of an A/A setup on the LSJ using a blower.
And why are we still arguing about this? lol

I enjoy the sound of a SC but thats about it and this vid shows how fast the EFR spools. I was not brake boosting just stabbed it WOT and by the time my foot hit the floor it was at 25psi. I also found a boost leak so its even faster now
In for results and graph its always good to have more options.

alright lets try to make the arguing about turbo vs. supercharger end right here. Turbos are sick superchargers are sick we all drive cobalts lets all get along
