Official Procharger Build Thread
The pulley sizes will go from:
2.95"-2.25" from stock boost to max of the supercharger.
Still no pricing yet.
But as for driving. It pulls just like a turbo with the 2.95" pulley and hits 12 psi @ 6500 rpm.
It comes on very strong and will make first and second gear very worthless. The kit will come with any pulley size you want and everthing to make it start and run. (ie: a base tune will be part of the kit) im doing this because its running pure speed density so no mass air flow meter.

yep! we figured hell with it lets see what it can do! so why play nice! no more fooling around 2.95" pulley 260whp.... see what 2.25" pulley puts down! F IT!
Chevy is it show up at your door?

difference procharger is a centrifugal SC as opposed to roots (m62) centri's stay cooler, essentially a centrifugal sc is similar to a belt driven turbo
freaking sweet thanks man this seems a pretty promising wounder how much a kit is gunna cost i just jumped on this thread i was thinking twinscrew but this seems more able
so are these kits gunna be available soon cause i noticed they have got some real good numbers and things seem to be going pretty well with only 12 lbs of boost they hit 260whp on a roller dyno and the are trying for 18 psi
what kind of boost levels will you see on those tiny pullies?
you don't expect to have any issues with the negatives outweighing the gains on a pulley that small? I don't know if the pulley sizes are equivalent to those on the m62

we are being very patient on the numbers and vids and dyno sheets.
The kit is ready to buy know but we are double and triple checking everything so we do not get no returns on anything and when people buy this product it is just that they buy it, strap it on and make the numbers and have fun! no, i got an oil leak, or my car is not making the power...we are testing it on other LSJ cars like the Redline to make sure all the numbers are the same across the board.
i will have a 2.2L ION dont here shortly so those numbers will be shown here soon...omre to come...
But 53page are all about the pro's and cons of the procharger.
Since 4 cylinders naturally lack low end torque, the pro charger would multiply that problem. Doesn't seem like a very useful build. Seems like it would be worse than turbo lag, cause it doesn't reach peak boost until your smashing the rev limiter.
It does feel like a turbo. Very much like a turbo right now. Having that larger pulley makes it seem laggy. But the smaller pullyes will make it more like the roots. There is going to be lag with the procharger thats just the way it is but power is more availible at lower speeds with a smaller pulley. And the dyno will show this too. Having that low of boost (12 psi) in are application isnt showing the procharger off. The smaller pulleys and more boost make the procharger work better.
Teaser video will becoming very soon. I just have to get one of those mini discs at wal-mart!
This video will be with the lower 12 psi boost. After the pulley swap then I will make a better video comparing other cars with the Cobalt SS/PC
