On the other hand, the Eatons are ineficient at high rpms. They effectively chop the air around at high speed. The adiabatic(spelling?) efficiency goes to **** creating the "H" in Heaton. This was done on purpose to maintain the linear flow chart. Remember, the design was originally for a tractor.

You can set the charger to peak whenever you want in the RPM range with pulley changes. It just so happens that peak at redline makes sense. Should we be upset that it blows too much at high rpm. Maybe?

All this talk really isn't getting anywhere. I would love to see some graphs and such.

My experience is with the l61 with v9 and v2's. The v2 never had any problem with low end torque. The L61 head just couldn't swallow that much flow up high.

Would u guys be ok with info from an lsj redline? Reason I say this is because I am looking for someone in colorado to slap on this procharger I have here at my location. I will have another procharged car here but it will be a 2.2l ion or maybe talk wunsick into slapping this blower on his 2.4l cobalt

It's the same motor so I don't see how that's a problem. If it is, then i'll bitchslap whoever thinks it should be from a cobalt.

Thumbs down Geez

The way I see it is, all the guys that don't have money invested in this project or cash in hand waiting to buy it, should just back off and let the man work.
It's great that all of you are excited about something new but the annoying little two year old in the backseat crying, "Are we there yet?" gets to even the best of us.
Let the updates come as they come and stop cluttering the thread with garbage.

Im almost there! The 2.25 inch pulley is very very very small. If anyone knows someone that has a zzp manuel tensioner let me know. Thats all im waiting on. And then its off to the laptop to finish the project and run some corvettes!

Did im say how small the pulley is? LOL

Sorry, No video yet. Ill get a quick one started. I just put on the 2.25 pulley and its just over 21 psi boost.

Ill still have to tune it but all get a quick video of it running.

The clutch doesnt hold the power. But I should be able to get some 2-3 gear`pulleys in.

Im hoping it holds untill i hit the dyno again.

I dont think we are going to do the procharger as a production! Have not hit the dyno yet with the new pulley and everthing. I have it tuned and hitting over 21 psi now but Its not going to be worth the cost to a lot of customers. We will be doing them as a custom installation but not as a bolt on kit! I will be putting my car on the dyno at the end of jan or early feb! I will try and make a video in the daytime!
