Doh! I missed your post about sending the PM. Oh well, I'll find someone to take this hunk of plastic off my hands. Good luck with the rest of the build!

If people are getting 350+hp with the stock lsj manifold,im sure the procharger should be no different.Right?

Yeah, I've got the 2.4 manifold. If someone wants it, I'll sell it. It just doesn't have the brake booster hose.

Hahn said it sucks for turbo'd applications. But it does its job for the Heaton. If you are going to quote other people get it right.

I think so. There are a few differences in the turbo vs the procharger! The procharger will only make as much boost as I can spin it. The turbo will overspin to hit my boost levels!

I did a test on the intake manifold with 2 boost guages to find out what im losing threw are stock intercoolers. And when I saw the stock boost guage hit 12 and the one in the pipe hit 16 it was time for a change. So that the reason for getting rid of the lsj manifold is for 3 psi of boost and less restriction for the procharger! This should solve the late boost problem and give me even more top end! Also I will be using a inlet big enough to feed a diesel pick! And the will give me another 1.5 psi of boost! I also tested the procharger without an air filter just to see!

So if the turbocharger wastegate is hooked to the manifold then it will make the boost it needs to hit the mark to open the wastegate! Do you see my point? So it will be one more go for the procharger!

Im just waiting on my intercooler! and then bame back in biz!

isn't boost a measure of pressure? meaning, removing restriction essentially should drop boost levels not raise them? i don't get how these things are going to increase boost levels...clarification?

Thats why I have a sheet metal back up but its not ready for awhile due to lack of funding at the moment but the plastic should take 20 psi I hope

That will at least give me a base where I can see what boost I can make without the lsj manifold!

As far as the higher boost is concerned there is more boost because there will be less restriction in the intercooler. All intercoolers of pressure drop but the lsj has a lot! That is where I am getting more boost. Not through the procharger because its already doing it! but it doing before the intercooler!

im fully aware of the pressure drop across a larger area vs a smaller area. leaving all of the techno bable out of this. my suggestion is simpley to find a slightly larger procharger instead of trying to overspin the blower that you have now to combat the pressure loss across the manifold, and the intercooler.

just a small suggestion.

dunno. just a random idea

sounds like a C-2 is in order.

I would love to throw on the c2 or a p1sc (i dont think it will fit but)! The major problem is the lag is why i want the boost! I want that boost down low not up high. The procharger makes a lot of power up top but just taking to long to get there!

Thanks for the suggestion! I may run a f1r Think big!

But I think the FMIC idea will solve a lot of the issues with the lack of boost at lower rpm also there will be a custom belt to fit way better and hold tight to the pulley!

you're dangerously close to the limit of that blower itself. just making a suggestion

remember. it's not a v8. you don't have torque
