umm if you all have the tial, I would say step down in spring strength. We went over it about 50 pages ago lol. Try swapping it and see if that fixes it

One of them has the generic zzp bov. I was having an issue with that one, swapped in the tial q and everything is all good now. But yea definitely step down in spring strength if you're having an issue. Here's a video on how to disassemble and reassemble the tial bov, should be similar for zzp's generic bov.

I don't have bov flutter, I know that video I posted was looking at the bov but at the time I had thought it was possibly leaking.

No I haven't gotten it yet. I had a similar issue, car went into some sort of limp mode while cruising doing about 35, just started sputtering out of the blue almost no power. I raised the idle scaler and was able to get my timing back near where it should be at idle and haven't had an issue since.

I'm pretty sure I fixed the flutter/compressor surge problem I was having today :

Now does anyone know how to fix that shitty idle? I'm going back to my tuner soon to finish up the tune now that I have the bugs fix, is that something he can fix? I already checked for vacuum leaks, throttle body and all the sensors are clean, so I'm not sure what else it could be if the tune doesnt fix it...

which codes did you delete specifically in the evap system. I am in the middle of fooling aroun with my HPT file and making sure its good to go for the turbo swap.

that's actually not a bad price. Most places that fab pipes will charge you near, if not more than that price....

On a side note, I just bought a new/used rotating assembly. And a brand new set of k1 rods for dirt cheap. Thinking about just popping in the head as is, but I'm weighing towards porting/polishing it and putting in some work on it....not sure though.

yeah, well, you also don't have a brother that thinks he can turn a wrench, and then forgets to thoroughly tighten a spark plug and thus preventing it from becoming a mini rocket that shoots straight into the valve train....

Hunting. Sometimes it's fine and sometimes it's not. When I first start the car the idle is perfect then after a minute it acts up. And my 60's are not idling as smooth as they were with BYTs tune when I was supercharged. Car also stalls out when I turn the AC on if I'm just idling, drives fine with it on. Hasn't been a very pleasant summer when I'm stuck in traffic and have to turn the AC off.

What intake are you running? The saab manifold?

Have a copy of a tune and log?

Running zzp's turbo kit so yea the k and n intake that comes with it and the modified Saab manifold. Unfortunately I don't have hptuners so I have no way of sending anyone a log. Been keeping my eye on the market place for hptuners, but everytime there's a good deal I'm ten seconds too late. Gremlin85 is heading to my area in a month or so for a tune/meet, so hopefully my issues will be resolved when he retunes me. Doubt BYT will get back to me before then

I had an issue where the idle scaler did not work on my car at all, I had to bump it up to 4750 otherwise it would pull so much timing it'd be near negative. Changing that made a world of difference at idle, timing is close to commanded and drives just fine with the AC/on off doesn't matter.

Edit: It's worth it to just go and buy it, even if you have pay for it new, your in this deep with the turbo kit already haha
