It was one of ThexGovernor's threads. He had a dw300 that failed on him after a short time. Switched to something else from ZZP.

its the baffle that covers the oil pick up. the reason i told u to take it off, is if youre tapping the pan like u said, youll want to remove it to be able to clean everything really good. IIRC its like 5 torx bolts size 30 remove them and the metal baffle will come right out

no it should be AN fittings so nothing is needed (if the fitting going into the pan that u tapped is npt, which it should be you can put a light layer of liquid teflon or pipe tape) only on the side that threads into the pan

u said u have a crush washer on the galley fitting so nothing on those threads.
Right now im running just a screen over my inlet housing. Gonna build an intake. U will need a 4in to 3.5 in reducing coupler and run a 3.5 inch intake. A 4in wont fit and will rub. U can email zzp they said they would make one plug and play for a price, but i can do it cheaper

its a pain! I took it to a shop that had a pneumatic vavle compressor, had the head springs changed in 10 minutes. Used zzp 82 lb ers and titanium retainers.
