And the year after that, and the one after that, and the one after that... Unless of course you'd rather me do things at your pace?

Too late for that. That would have started two years ago.

But hey, better late than never!

Lol

I wasn't so much knocking on him as I was raising the point that each individual's car is THEIRS! If someone wants a turbo timer for the piece of mind of cooling things down, then more power to them! Having one does not make you a "ricer" any more than painting engine parts a color of your choice, painting the wheels, hid's, etc... Anything that YOU want to do to your car.

I am right there with you, that is why I was explaining to the guy that was asking what his options are for using one or not using one and what common issues he would have ie the unlock issue

anyone coming in and going "that is ricer ****" doesnt help the conversation and doesnt keep ppl around getting information and growing

I feel 4.45 or a f40 in my future... Not sure how I'll afford it but my f35 won't be a happy camper come spring..

It is, but considering what you are getting for it, its not too bad. It comes with everything you need. My friend swapped an STi trans into his 02 wrx, which use the same mounts and shifter cables and all, and he was in over 5K. He bought the trans for $3600 or something like that, low mileage used. Didn't want to swap all his hubs and brakes and wheels so he had to buy 2 rear axles from DSS for $1k, then a clutch and pressure plate for $600.
