I believe that would depend on the size of your turbo

I figured much. I would need a big turbo for it to be beneficial I'm guessing.

i have #60 injectors right now and staying with them since i have the stage 3 kit on and a custom tine. And the maf sensor is on the pipe going from the intercooler into the intake.

also the scip sensor is still being used, it has it own place on the hahn intake manifold.

It depends where your restriction is. With a stock or 2.5 exhaust with a full cat/res/muffler yes a cutout on the downpipe will help. If you're running a 3" straight pipe, not so much. And if you're running a Nicky downpipe, it doesn't matter wtf you do

Then you should have no issues driving to the tuner.

Well I finally got the s360 in the car. Felt pretty proud of myself for measuring every thing out and modifying the manifold perfectly. Just under 1/8" clearance to the firewall, but with powell's race mounts that's not an issue.
Here she is next to the s256 I pulled out:

And here she is crammed up in place. Had to un bolt the steering rack to get it up there, and even then it was like solving a rubric's cube.

All things considered I'd say she's doing pretty well. A little laggy obviously, but that will change soon
On a 15# spring, it pulls like the 256 did on 24-25 psi.

Your stock block amazes me. You've put it through hell and back and when the new engine is built you can just pull this one out and save it for a backup!

Did the compressor come like that or did you have the reducer welded on the outlet neck? I just wondered because you can get a silicon reducer for virtually any size and welding costs money. The video sounds extremely smooth so your tune is pretty decent. Looks like it pulls very hard up top.

It definitely has taken quite a beating. You just gotta treat them right

I welded the "reducer" on. The cover outlet is actually very thick; the ID of the 2.5" pipe actually matches the ID of the cover outlet. I did that so it would match up to my one piece charge pipe I had already made for my holset.
I am a machinist/fab/welder so it didn't really cost me more than a few cents

It really is. Look at infra an several others that have ran them hard. Things are a lot different than when these cars first came out and people were blowing #4 on cars just over 300whp.

I have a question, I have a 07 LSJ with 163 000 KM on it. I am planning on turbo swapping the car, it burns no oil, no ticks and was really well maintained. However I would like to know if I should look into getting it refreshed before I spend the money on a turbo kit.

I have 180,000 on my stock bottom end. Do a compression and leak down test, and an oil analysis for bearing wear. If all is good, turn it up.

You modified zzps manifold? You should sell the turbo and manifold as a kit

I would, but if all goes well, ramhorn or similar tubular style manifolds will be available by spring.

Here's some pics of the process for those interested. I was surprised by the casting voids in the zzp mani.

That's awesome! Could this work with a efr or are they generally twin scrolled?

Edit: screw the efrs, these turbos are cheap
