Tvs 1900 lsj build
#201
No, riddles and I'm not saying the 1900 wont work, just that I think thats the limit we could really use based on what we can actually flow though the head. After seeing these graphs I changed by backup plan from m90 to this if I dont get 350hp on my theoretical build, like the engine builder program says I will. I should see if I saved that engine because it would be real easy to pop this blower on it so we can start guessing power for realz. Based on the 2nd graph there, I'm guessing you're going to somehow see the pr1 to pr1.1 area for boost.
I'm talking about 100%Meth. He keeps leaving us wanting to know more.
Cliff hangers, short clues, and talk of new testing were some of Area47's greatest traits.
Now 100%Meth is doing the same

He was not referring to you. He would not insult Area47 like that.
I don't think I have read one positive post from you on this entire forum. You are always bashing and trying to derail people's efforts in every thread you post in. You have barely the slightest clue about what you are talking but run your mouth in every thread. Do some more research on this platform and people might start respecting your opinion.
Listen to what he is saying before you blindly reply.
He is not talking about a typical ported head. He is talking about something that could potentially drop the boost on a M62 from 19-20psi to 10psi. If you know anything about the M62 or LSJ heads, you would know that is not normal with anything that has ever been tried before.
He is building his engine to properly support the power adder.
So why don't you just sit back and relax and wait for the results before criticizing.

Again, your basing this off a stock/mild cammed LSJ with either a gasket matched/smoothed exhaust ports.
I'll leave you with this for now, and let you think about it.
When all is said and done, the m62 on 2.5 pulley (typically 19-21 psi on a stock head and cams) will be 10 psi, most likely less.

Everyone needs to chill out, and let this happen. No one can say anything about this build until results are on the table. 100%Meth is trying something new, and no one really knows the potential outcome. Yes, we can all throw our opinions based on what we may think we know, but until there is hard data, the opinions really mean nothing.

I wasn't criticizing this build here, I was criticizing the person who said to put a 2300 on it because I don't think you can port the stock head out enough to flow enough air to keep that huge blower in its efficiency range.

we can't run over 63.5# injectors either now can we?
fueling and spark calculations will be based off the top of the tables though.

Lol......... Riddle me this, riddle me that.
Until its done who's to say it won't support a 2300. We simply don't know yet...
Anywho, I'm not trying to riddle. Just waiting for a finished product before I post hard facts, using the dyno, hpt scanner, etc.
This has not been attempted before to my knowledge on this forum... Or in this platforms entire history.

I should go copy paste the quotes in here... "5whp over", "it's going to make less hp", "the hood won't close", "it won't break 300"
