tvs owners.
I laugh at people who think they have to keep their stuff a secret. gay. that's why a 250whp stock blower cobalt is the fastest.
come on ralli haha there are a few more ppl in the 12's than most realize. They just aren't big talkers. took me a while to even learn about it haha. Its like they have a secret undergroud society LOLZ
they have a secret forum. I know about it. You have to be invited. Before you become a member, the mods do a vote.
I just think it's weird that tvs cars are struggling to break 300 and yet these other people claim to have broken 300 on the m62, somethings not adding up.
it's called cobalt underground

I dont even know what i did, but I got perma-banned from it
Wow, this thread made a b-line for a make believe forum that slow people are apparently not allowed in.
Back on topic, I personally know of two people that made 300whp on the M62, just as others have stated. Not to mention plenty of people that aren't members on here, or don't care enough to share times/numbers. My old Cobalt is out running 12.7's in the 1/4, and the new owner thinks this place is a joke. Apparently, dropping to small pullies is so 2005, so no one does it anymore. Therefor, no one makes 300whp+ anymore. People still think GM Stage 2 is fast.

I see you post this **** all the time. WTF did you have done to your car to break 300 so easily yet so many people can't do it nowadays? I think you went to a happy dyno and you should just quit bragging. I do realize that your cobalt is the most modified right now and makes the most power, but I don't think your 300whp m62 claims are realistic.
What were your trap speeds at the 1/4?
What were your trap speeds at the 1/4?
2.5 pulley on a BOX-STOCK m62, thus it proved to be more efficient then tons of the home-brew "ported" units people rely so heavily on.
if your doing it with a dremal tool, you ARE doing it wrong.
race gas(i DD the car on the stuff, that way i dont need no shitty meth junk), 3in exhaust, 3in cat-less DP, V1 injen intake (arguably the best one to ever exist for our cars, before they put the bump in it for hood clearance) and no fog light on the drivers side.
most u m62 guys a missing a VARY key power making point that Eaton offers from the factory...........
also, braking 300 was not easy, nor did i ever claim it to be such. it took all i and my car had to do it.
i ran a vary aggressive spark ramp to get the torque number up (more power at lower rev's = Tq) and a fluctuated PE curve that keep the car with in .1 AFR of its self during the entire pull (key for power because it keeps the car on the edge of workable cylinder pressure)
then i tuned the **** out of it! multiple pulls on a vary tough dyno (other numbers cited in earlier post)
to the point that my street tune was junk on the dyno, and my dyno tune was basically undriveable.
dynamic air flow is so different on the street VS dyno that, thats basically how things have to be to make big power.
that in its self is also the reason why dyno tunes are utter junk. you need a wickedly expensive dyno cell to simulate things properly.
street tune or die.
the car would trap into the 108-110 range all day.
that's about it.

too bad it's not a make believe forum. I wasn't invited, but I was told that a friend tried to get me in and then nothing ever came of it. Obviously I'm not wanted.
I don't care.
as for your 300whp trapping 108-110, so how does hatrickstu do it with much less power? again, I think you were on a happy dyno, as are the other 300whp m62 claimers. A car trapping 108-110 is nothing to laugh at, I just don't believe you ACTUALLY had 300whp.

mods were simple back then.

I'm assuming you also ran a bigger h/e and an dualpass as well with the 2.5?

This sites the only one I know of where people try to be all "under cover" with all their mods and tuning. Its kind of funny people trying to keep themselves to the haves and have nots. Each to their own.
on another note, im kind of ashamed the direction this has gone. 06black, paul, and area all have faster cars than me, and for all i know they have already gone WAY faster than i have. i hope they did because these are the guys i look forward to reading stuff from. i know they have more knowledge than me, so why in the world would i do like some of you and hate on them? thats retarded. there are much faster balts, probably even on stock blower, than mine. its the facts guys get over it.
