Why should "those" give up all the information and secrets, and mods they have done themselves away for nothing...

Most of the "t00ner" on here trade info back and forth to make a better tune... so they should just give you 100's of hours of tune time, and 100s of dyno pulls worth of information just because!

GET A CLUE NEWBS!

And Area47 pulled that 116 on OE Pirelli's....

i think its funny people hate on the guys keeping some things to themselves. go out and experiment for yourselves some. almost makes me want to start keeping little track tricks to myself now too.

Im not saying they have to or not. Its their time and effort they do what they want. However this is the ONLY forum I have seen where people like to talk about how great they are and then dont like to reveal anything else about their car. Granted I know areas car is fast cause everyone says it is that has seen it in person. I just think its funny that the fastest guys on the site dont want anyone else to go fast with them it seems. Doesnt bother me none, I dont even have a balt anymore.

THey have all given all information about their cars... sometimes you have to read between the lines with them...

But I know Area, 06black, 06blackg85ss, and most of the faster LSJ cars have given all parts showed pictures, everything but their tunes out...

What more do you want... them to give you a parts list and build it for you!

They don't want to give people the power. They want people to find it themselves the same way they did.

Research is key.

I don't care.

as for your 300whp trapping 108-110, so how does hatrickstu do it with much less power? again, I think you were on a happy dyno, as are the other 300whp m62 claimers. A car trapping 108-110 is nothing to laugh at, I just don't believe you ACTUALLY had 300whp.
he did his runs on DR's iirc.

or full blown slicks, my **** was most always done on 18in street tires. its had the slicks slapped on it two or three times.

the grip those give thro 2nd would have netter another MPH or two, along with a much sweeter ET.

as for the sticky tires-
once with the 2.7 combo that pulled the car into mid 13's then again for a high 12 pass (12.97@109) with another guy driven and then the last was about a year ago with the turbo set up. and that was done for some highway stuff.

believe what you want, but the dyno that dan's turbo car put 320whp down on along with several other 2.5 cars not braking 260whp(3 on there own tunes, 2 on caned ones) tell me and all who were there that its not a "happy" dyno at all.

your still missing the big picture here, pre-TVS era, eaton used to offer some vary tick parts if you had the rite connections.

there was supposed to be up to a 7th gen on the "M" series blowers, yet we only saw the 5th.

every single mod has been posted at sometime or another. however. my personal maps will not be posted.

this part right here makes or breaks the car.

I get it. I think it's because plenty of newbs have this car.

Hell, I don't tell people much of my setup either. I rather them figure it out on their own with my guidance.

Subscribing. I love it when people call bullshit because someone doesnt make a howto, parts list, price list, and post a tune file and shoot video of the dyno or 1/4 run. I wonder how the pros go fast when their competition wont share secrets. It must be a trick....you cant possibly have the fastest/most powerful/etc if you dont divulge intimate details.

Well I dont see it on the 2 dodge forums, 3 ford forums, this gm forum, or a few of the classic car forums.

But this is the only forum that has swearing and ******* with fast cars that I know of.

on another note, im kind of ashamed the direction this has gone. 06black, paul, and area all have faster cars than me, and for all i know they have already gone WAY faster than i have. i hope they did because these are the guys i look forward to reading stuff from. i know they have more knowledge than me, so why in the world would i do like some of you and hate on them? thats retarded. there are much faster balts, probably even on stock blower, than mine. its the facts guys get over it.

what's m?

No I dont at all. I dont expect them too either. Maybe I've just never seen a car where its still in the pioneering stage of performance instead of it already being laid out.

spoken with intelligence, i applaud that.

i will say that you have gone faster ET's then myself, and for that i tip my hat to you.

i went in a different direction per say with my car, i was always way more focused on trap speed.

my car is driven nicely and normally 98% of the time, the other 2% is all street racing.
thus 40-50mph rolls is what my car does and thats what she was built for.

when you wanna make power, I'll be there to lend a hand.

DING DING DING ive been trying to tell people my et and trap doesnt come from the 60. it pulls way better to the 330 than most because im not spinning. the dr's dont offer that much of an advantage right off the line IMO. slicks would do wonders however. fyi they were nitto 555r's

I'm the slow fast car of the group! I've learned much from everyone that I talk with, and haven't talked with through mutual friends.....
