YOUR current LSJ setup
good point but I would hope ZZP did this before they ship them. Also I bought Titanium retainers but does it matter if the guy wanting to save a few bucks gets steel retainers?
it costs a huge amount of money to do the spintron gig. If you dont buy major manufacturer's or OEM brands with known validation, its a risk. ZZP are very good at what they do, but I am not sure you can assume they have done this.
This should answer some of the questions, and also the issue of steel vs titanium retainers.

Lighter valvetrain components are a plus in high performance engines.
the titanium ones are supposed to be "lighter" thus reducing weight off the valve and allowing it to open and close easier. don't hold me to that. its what I've heard.
-m62 on a 2.8 pulley
-3in intake from ZZP
-Bad-mab header to 3in ZZP downpipe to mandrel bent 3in exhaust to flowmaster muffler
-60# injectors
-ZZP S3 H/E and dual pass endplate
-ZZP Option B
-Devils Own Brew Stage 1 meth kit(3,7,10gph nozzles)
-1 step colder NGK plugs

when you exceed x amount of spring pressure you need to get a alot stouter retainer so it wont buckle or shove over the keepers it be lighter is just a bonus you should get a better lock also will you see a performance increase with ti retainers no you wont is it worth the money at our level of performance no i dont feel it is worth it the money could be better spent elswhere

Also, I did mention they are stronger.... I just didn't get in to the detail you did explaining it.
Thanks though John. Always good info from u.
Supertech make the same spring for all sorts of engines, they have been doing it for a long time, make thousands of springs over many years, and have never had any complaints of rubbing the coils on the side of the head as reported by some LNF users.... so if anyone has pictures I would be happy to see what help I can be.
The other thing that has happened however, is that there has been a running change in the rocker for the ecotec motors. I have seen this myself, as I upgraded my last GMR cylinder head; previous rockers were strained a bit (stressed) around the U shaped cup where the pivot (hydraulic lifter) sits. Early LSJ rockers were "cracked" in that area brand new.
Newer Ecotec rockers are thicker in this dimension, so if you are shopping for valve springs, I would go with the slightly softer 75 lb Supertech, which has a differently machined spring retainer, to accomodate these thicker rockers.
.
so order if you are interested, the SPR-TS1012/EC rather than the SPR-TS1015/EC
Valves/Springs - SuperTechPerformance.com
Now please note that I highly recommend both the valves spring with the retainer from the same manufacturer, and also that these are double valve springs. Beehive singles are brilliant technology but if they are not coming from comp cams or GM, then I would say pass, and stick with Supertechs.
all I got.

Curious to know why you chose 94 lb springs when Supertech recommend the 75 lb ones for the ecotec LNF... can you share? And what sort of price did you find and wheere? I have a customer just emailed me for some...
as I explained the lsj ecotec has some pretty rocky looking rockers, and while I run supertechs I have upgraded the rockers twice now... there is nothing in the tt description to persuade me differntly, and I would certainly not run a 94 lb spring in an LSJ. And I dont lol. So thats my take, it was also *****'s take at Supertech. But I was interested in the posters viewpoint; in for the learnz.

ive seen it first hand. zzp does not do this and on multiple cars on different platforms have seen problems with zzp springs not being correct or matching
