List your LSJ setup and whp if you know it
And don't list "rims" "double din radio" this is for performance setups
This thread can also be used to make recommendations

You know, when I needed to replace my pads, I only had the money for the Gold Duralast pads at the time. I have to say, they have performed quite well on my car coupled with Super Blue brake fluid. Never had any fade and they saw 2 autoxs and some extremely scary high speed stops... Ask Whitney...

Id run em in a pinch, its just that there are better pads for just a little more money, sorry to get off topic.

Valve springs are to stop the valves from floating. I dont see cams so its not going to make any more power of 7200 rpm and should shift at 7000 even still.

I have valve springs, balance shaft deletes, but without a cam, I still only rev to 7200 cause there is no point in going over that.

Valve springs and nbs or deletes AND cams are what can make you power all the way to 8000.

Valve springs are just a supporting mod. I did mine cause it was easier to have done while I had my head pulled. I am waiting for cams cause when i can afford them I can install them by just pulling the vc and timing cover.

valve springs are more than just a supporting mod. but i don't see others understanding why. so it's ok.

harmonics are fun!

Here's a nice read for the people who don't fully understand the purpose of valve springs....

To make this less confusing run 82 zzp springs if youplan to stage 2 cam your car. People like to complicate things just to say they added it to a mod list.

a valve springs principal function is to prevent valve float. on a boosted engine they also prevent the intake valve from being blown open springs also help absorb valvtrain harmonics and so on

you think there will be any noticeable harmonic issues with a stock cam until i get something more aggressive, say comp cams we talked about? zzp springs seat pressure is 82 and something like 200 or 210 compressed. This doesnt even seem on par with the ones that are stated in the table in the link above that are into the 100's. What is the stock seat pressure?

valve springs you buy should be validated with a spintron. If not, then its just a gamble, and most gambles dont work out well.
