2.2 SC Thread
Here is a link, its about 15 pages but the first few are just woohoo and when is it coming out??? questions. i havent looked at it in long time and zzp should shortly be bringing out dyno slips.

pay a few more dollars and get a turbo for that $$$. turbo pulls in more torque and cant beat the blow off valve sound.
but dynos will only prove if this SC kit is worth 2000
ok well i just read zzp and they updated it. S3 HE cost like 200 or so itself and thats good for keeping the engine cool. dual pass will help too. almost 250 is good on stage 1. stage 2 should be around 260+ but on a stock tranny, u probably wont want more than stage 1 unless u change internals. got no clue though how much the engine can hold. is it worth 2000 + shipping? for brand new, looks good. my kit that i have together or when its done will be about 1400 not including intercepter or wideband gauge. picked up semi locally, and used. stock HE, 3" pulley, stage 2 belt. no injectors though. should be putting like 12psi if not more for that pulley and heard around 240 hp itself. wont know til its on though so dont take my word for that.

Thanks for info, instead of buying the option b last week, i decided to get the dual endplate mod done. just gotta ship it out to buddy. looking at an intercepter or wideband. both are really expensive. interceptor looks like it will be better cause it provides more acurate readings. still looking around
Just got my dual pass endplate back from italianjoe (spelling). looks good. got the cores swapped out already. need to buy some hoses and clamps for that. waiting for a few more parts from gmpartsdirect to get to my house. tune is the last major thing, everything else is cheap and can be bought up the street. maybe besides spark plugs. i went to auto zone and advance auto they dont have iridium XI range 6. they got range 7. still having trouble searching what stock plugs i have... T.T if i do need the range 6, i will need to special order them looks like from one of those auto stores.
Send it to italianjoe1 unless u want ottp to do it. bung for mine looks good. if want, i can post a pic on my build or txt u a pic. i'll be home around 3 i think.
might work on trying to get aftermarket h/e and i should be pretty good on cooling mods to maintain decent boost if not all

o man lol grats. i updated my build with dual pass pic and 6 to 8 pin tb adapter. looks like i will still have to cut some wires on it. was hoping i didnt have too. anyone put the adapter on that can help?
Just a little bit of rewiring. Not too bad, if you ask me. You'll need to buy the 8-pin pigtail from GM, but I'm not sure what the P/N is. Your other option is to contact ZZP and see what they'd charge for a 6-pin-to-8-pin connector from their kit.
Edit - looks like you already have the pigtail, so it's just a matter of doing some wiring. On the back of the connectors there should be a lettering scheme (most likely just an A and an F/H) that would show you where to hook what up.
awesome, thanks for reply. that person just posted today, i should of made a post but didnt want noone to be like GO RESEARCH NOOB.
looks like just leave two wires untouched. interesting. should of just redid my TB adapter and saved 80 bucks.... going to include that in my build to save ppl $$$ and spend it on like wideband or interceptor or etc..
EDIT:
nvm, just thought about it, the 6 pin wont fit in the adapter cause the clips. or will it? @.@ lol to late now, got the adapter so will use it. think u might need it anwayz if ur year does not have the 8 pin. size and stuff factor.

Installed my transmission cooler last night... Took me about an 10 minutes to disassemble the front end (I'm getting good at that
), an hour to install, 20 minutes to look for the F*CKING HOSE CLAMP that somehow ended up inside my freezer
, and then 20 minutes to reassemble the front end...
Figured that I'd post this here... Here's how you wire up your 6-pin TB harness to the 8-pin pigtail.

looks like a lot of questions still to be answered about the kit as well ...
