lets be real. Hp and Torque
Cams actually are not that hard, just make sure everything is lined up. Really you just take the valve cover off and there right there. Maybe 2Hrs. at the most.

Anyway, to answer your question:
All cars are rated at the crank, your car actually does have that, just not at the wheels. Higher numbers obviously sound better so they will always advertise the crank HP instead of the WHP.
As far as why you lost to a car that much slower than you. My guess is you need the Driver Mod bad.

under-steer is when your front end hits the wall
over-steer is when your rear end hits the wall
hp is how fast you hit the wall
tq is how much of the wall you take with you
hp tq switch at 5250 ( i think, its close to it anyways )
cars with huge tq can go fast look at any diesel, cars with not tq just require short gears
i just want a dyno that looks like this
