Awesome. Glad I said something. I'm interested in seeing what kind of difference that'll make at the track. You have a 'before' time... need to get that 'after' time.

If you have any auto tune questions let me know. My fiancé’s is good with them.

well if you're offering haha .. what values would you (or fiancé) recommend for WOT shift speed for an aggressive drag strip tune?
Mine are 64,116, 193km/h

Also kinda curious, cruising at 60km/h my trans kinda shakes every morning when it drops into 4th gear at a certain stretch of road, I just blip the throttle and I've gotten use to it, sometimes I can modulate the throttle just right so I stay in third.. tried stock file, modified files, tested stock mounts, etc. Maybe the two of you have come across this? Best description: noisy/ rough 4th gear low rpm

Is WOT shifting not based off of RPM? Either way, I'd rev out as much as you can.

It’s possible RPM shift speed is a stronger influence but there is wot shift by speed

Figured out why I’m going through so much god damn methanol mix.. with the system off there’s a siphoning affect going on.. Lost roughly 1/3 gallon over a 40 minute drive with no wot, supercharger was ice cold... so ordered an aem filter and solenoid last week.

Was about 60% sure when I disconnect the quick connects there would be some seal hahaha. Got the filter on.. Will install the solenoid this weekend with a low tank of fluid.

Curious if anyone has noted a stronger spray after installing a water/meth solenoid?
running a tad rich atm (under wot)*

went for a drive Sunday though drove for about 3.5 hrs lots of wot and used less than 1/4 gallon!
...last week I went for a 40min drive system Completely off, And it ate 1/3 gallon! hence the solenoid

One week away and its starting to get cold here.. Car's not perfect but she'll have no problem making a pass or two in a week. Lots of time to find out if I'm still running rich or not after a recent update. Should be running full timing in every gear. Going to push my shift speed by rpm cells a little higher, 6825-6850 for 1st and 2nd. Also need to rotate my tires from the burnouts I was doing last time lol.

Developed an issue over Sunday where I had no TB response in N or P lol. Spent all day yesterday testing files, editing, flashing my car over and over again and figured out for whatever reason the car currently, does not like having the torque reduction duration by trans temp table: set to zero. So I'm running stock values for that table and she's happy.

Ordered a LSJ map sensor pigtail so I can swap IAT with IAT2, fingers crossed the sensor on my manifold is still good.. pretty excited to see progress next week, make more changes and try again!

I believe you'll get 13's by fall brotha no problem. Keep me posted on this. As for me, I ordered the fe5 rear axle bushings should be here next week and then I have to get the YYZ Springs at the end of this month. I also got one of my boys to paint my G5 GT rims who is a professional auto painter and should have those back early next week as well. I went with a gloss black powder coat and i'm doing my center caps a smoked black color. Should look slick.

Maybe you should download "TrackAddict". It's made by HPTuners and is designed to log circuit track times, segments (autocross, rally, etc), and drag times (1/8, 1/4. 5/8, 3/4, and 1 mile options).

Becomes a handy way to test different launch/shift strategies on the street. I've used it a handful of times with my S5 to test launch control vs just mashing the gas, and I will be using it at a track with my GTI next Saturday.

I seem to recall someone on AudiZine used it with pretty good accuracy (within a tenth of a second times and basically spot on MPH).

Of course after I say 'I should be running full timing in 3rd' lmao its not today ugh..
I guess I need that torque reduction table set to zero to achieve full timing. Going to experiment with patter X and Z tomorrow see if I can find a way to still have TB response in P/N in addition to having full timing in 3rd lol, sigh....

Thanks I'll definitely take a look at that, also gotta review what you told me about burnouts before next week haha..
Was running leaner today which is good, no KR, full 20 in 1st and 2nd, about 8 in 3rd......
Discovered even on my "hot trans tune" my rpm shift parameters were only set to 6700-6725, so thinking I can pick up some more mph in the 1/8 if I mess around with that.
And worst come to worst, I can just run at the drag strip with no TB response in N/ P and just kill all torque reductions *and set the minimum spark to 15-18 to ensure full timing. little roadkill but oh well

Going to try running 0.1 Abuse Mode reduction duration and 0 pattern X & Z torque reduction. Got TB response in P and N...feel like I'll see full 3rd timing tmr
Edit did not see full spark in 3rd and found a way to get the values in reduction duration even less than 0.1 by switching the units... Going to set minimum TM spark to 15 that 'should' do it lol.

Just found out what's killing my timing in 3rd. to quote TexasGMC08 from a foreign forum
"Under Trans> TQmgt> Abuse Mode> Leave the two tables stock NEVER zero out on car or truck That's what is pulling timing ( Torque Reduction, Reduction Duration ) Leave both tables in Stock form."

What a struggle lmfao, should be back on track with full 3rd

Ended up speaking too soon again. Continued to fight my problem. Ended up learning quite a bit.. but flashed my car so many times the past month without letting her run too much, had to replace my battery yesterday lmfao.

Last week I folded and just left my Tune forcing timing in 3rd with min TM. I’ll circle back eventually but it’s time to move on got a pile of parts that need addressing.

Ready to make a pass this Saturday tho. Should be interesting.. Little skeptical but at least it has to do better ha.
Got my zzp high voltage coil packs today!! And she’s is looking goood

Engine bay looks some good my brotha. Update for me I got my rims back from my boy and they came out fuc$ing amazing lol. Went with gloss black with metallic flake. They really pop in the sunlight. Bad news is i'm still waiting for my YYZ springs. Looks like it might be awhile. Gloria from Powell is probably going to have to order more in because none are in stock at their shop right now at Powell's. My stock suspension feels like its ready to fall off its squeaking soo bad lol.

Haha I feel yeah there, hang in there! The wait will be worth it.

I’m considering trying Powell‘s twisting beam bushings now as I read somewhere here they add a little toe..

Did you change or open up the gap on your plugs? The big gain from the higher voltage is going to be from running a larger plug gap. More voltage = more ability to jump the gap = mo powa babeh!

Haven’t just yet. I’ll have to see if I can re gap autolites..
would you recommend like 50? (Believe my car uses 44 gap factory)
Or just bump it until I start seeing idle issues?
