So I found my old sig with some pics of my car so I figured I'd share with you brotha since you never saw it before. It basically looks about the same currently as far as paint and condition.

And tks my brotha I've tried to maintain the car over the years as best I could. I'll be happy once its all done and all the little problems get fixed. i'll try and update my new sig with pics as soon as I can.

Yesterday while I was going home I decided to turn off traction control apply heavy throttle and spin some tire while on ice lol
It was unusual this time though because to my surprise I got a little tug to the left side which didnt seem right because I was on ice but nonetheless maybe I hit a gravel patch..
as I got further down the road I realized something wasnt right as my steering wheel kept wandering from 12 oclock to 10 oclock.
On my way to work today it had noticeable memory steer. I brought it into the shop thinking Id missing a ball joint nut or bent a tie rod somehow..
RF strut: missing lower bolt and nut

I honestly have amazing luck now my car wont start lmao.
Sounds like its about to turn over but wont. Ive already changed over the ignition coil packs and its -30 out right now not sure what to do
it is not a dead battery
So far I got a p0300 random cylinder misfire, think I may try changing plugs.

No I had this problem with my old Nissan. Its the intake because it soo cold out the fuel is just not getting to the engine properly. Put your foot on the gas when you start it to keep the rpms from dropping and let your foot off until she starts to settle. But damn brotha I thought Scotia was cold during the winter lol. We usually don't get minus 30 until late Feb or early March. I think so far we had minus 15 or so and maybe minus 20 with Windchill. keep me posted on this.
Yeah things are soo out of whack brotha due to the covid you can't even seem to have any fun with your ride lol. I might even get that dragy device which tracks your times including 0to 60, 1/4 mile etc. I heard its supposed to really good.
Yeah think any of your plugs are fouled out? I would check them all brotha. Also I check maf to because we both know how funny gm mafs can be. i'm pretty sure mine is on its way out because the last time I had my car out the idle was not good at all brotha.
the ones I just put in were used but all white from methanol very clean looking plugs less aggressive gap 0.04 one step colder 6509s
not sure if I should try chancing it to see if I can make it to work whether worried itll stall somewhere
well all the plugs I took out were wet with fuel.

ok that's good news a tleast. Question for you. Have you ever heard of a tuner shop called player3 performance tuning? I might get my car tuned by them once I get the supercharger installed.
Yup I know what you mean brotha. Nothing worse than having a car break down in the winter. Experienced that situation more than once. I wouldn't risk it honestly unless you have one of those portable battery chargers maybe see if a buddy from work can pick you up. But seriously though now that you got a new crib you should look at picking up a new daily/beater that way you can just drive that and put the g5 away. Maybe even find a stock g5 or cobalt in good condition out. I check kijji you probably find a sweet deal right now.
No I haven't, I've heard very good things about OTTP and Area47, I could also refer you to my tuner just a guy down in Chicago but I use hptuners, very nice guy helps work through issues with me. I would not recommend zzp tho, they're tunes are great if your car is perfect but if you got a problem they won't work with you
Yeah it was a bit of gamble, need to meet with lawyers tomorrow morning though so I really wanted to get it up and running today. Cannot wait till I can just walk to work and leave this thing in a garage. 2nd G5 wouldn't be such a bad idea got lots of spare parts at this point lol

update: moved in to the house, loving coming home and its just mine yenno. It`s nothing fancy but pretty insane..
Got rid of my contaminated oil the other day, from last week`s no start.
I measured an excess of about 350ml of what I suspect could only be gasoline.
The oil came out grey at first and at the end, but it was clumpy not gritty.. so.. yeah.. kinda scary.
This past Saturday, I drove to work in the morning and tried to leave in the afternoon, exact same thing happened.
Battery was nonissue, Crank was turning, injectors were firing, but it wasn`t igniting and turning over.
So I pushed it inside the shop thankfully I parked right in front of the doors.. let it warm up, took out the wet plugs and put in new delcos. Fired right up.
It has been -40 the past few days, The weather actually said it felt like -47C this morning with wind. I`m considering there`s a bad cell in my tune, perhaps a value I just never hit last year.
Nonetheless today I said **** it, left my car home for the first time and walked to work! ..A one mile trip in -47C isn`t good for any car, tapping my car out while she`s still ahead.
And It may be freezing cold out and my garage isn`t insulated yet but I got all my tools organized, ordered everything I still needed and I am damn picking around the thought of taking the bumper off and just going to town now.
That oil needs to be changed again. Rad petcock is leaking and looks honestly more like ATF to me... New valve cover gasket. Resolve/find my HE system leak add the new pump. Find vacuum leak, reinstall blower, new V3 AEM nozzle, new plate (which will conform to the S/C rather than the TB) and just take my time this go around. Have fun with it.

Congrats on moving into your house my brotha. And I feel your pain when it comes to the weather. NS got about 35 cm of snow yesterday so I decided to get a plow in to do my driveway(big mistake). He did a lazy ass job and I had to get him back and go over again. I really hate winter and miss driving my g5 already lol. Yeah I keep an eye on your oil if its doing that could be a sign of other issues. A least now you have your own space to work on it and not have to drive it in bad weather.

Plan on doing 2 more oil changes just to make sure I get everything. First no start I tried cranking it way too many times, was a littler smarter this past saturday and stopped much much sooner.. still very concerning getting that much grey fluid out of the oil.... Google search says grey oil is water diluted so beats me...
Started taking the car apart last night, new adapter plate is amazing, will have my meth system re mounted tonight. ZZP came through and sent me a free replacement on the high voltage ignition coil I'm very happy about that. So those will go back on tonight. Had to trim my intake silicone adapter as the plate I'm using now is much thicker and puts the TB a little further out ( no biggie.. looks amazing, shoutout to OTTP). Probably will do the valve cover gasket next, leave the HE and Rad till the end as I don't really want to get on the cold ground just yet lol.
Thanks dude! Yeah this winter's been really brutal. I walk now to work everyday it's horribly cold but I'm liking working on my car in a no-rush setting.
lol nice brotha that's good exercise also. Lean you out which will mean quicker times at the track this year haha

Yeah that's a good idea. Get everything flushed out. What brand of oil do you use? I try to stick with good stuff like Penzoil, Quakerstate, sometimes Catrol Edge and Valvoline full synthetic isn't bad either. I wanna try Amsoil oil next. I heard that's really good also brotha. And for the filters I always go with Wix filters and usually the 15 to 20 kms extended one at like CARQUEST. Yeah I heard Meth works really well on our ecotec engines. I looked at those zzp coils before but I don't think i'll do those just yet unless I drop down another pulley size which will not be for a long while until I get use to the 3.1 power level for a bit lol. Only real update for me is I bought those TTR tranny poly bushings. I know with my car being 14 years old my stock bushings are trashed, so it was a good excuse to upgrade now since i'm tearing the whole suspension apart anyway lol. I'll get the engine mount next once I scrap more cash together. I hate winter soo much because my house expenses go up a lot because of the price of furnace oil and power bill lol. Those are the fun things you'll have to get use to as a new house owner brotha haha. And overall did you find the TTR tranny mounts and engine mount made a big difference? I know the only negative thing I really read about them was the vibrations are harsh at first but go away after they start to settle in.
I know the Roadkill guy's uses Amsoil lol, so it has to be good right?
So do you have the supercharger installed now?
I love using methanol, keeps everything so clean haha! Bought a pretty pricy stem elbow to make the plumbing a little cleaner but it is operational again for the moment.
Drove the car to work today, uncertain if I have any vacuum leaks left but it is idling very good. Brought my catch can in the other day to unthaw it lol, thing was just packed with "ice and snow." Hoping she's gonna start when I try to leave work today, finger crossed.
Yeah you should be good without the coils, OE's a perfectly fine, I'm just trying to squeeze every little bit of pwr out!
I know haha I haven't had to pay for my mortgage yet, hydro or water, trying to keep my spending low till I figure out what exactly my expenses are per month yenno..
I really like TTR's bushing's. I did the motor mount first, cut wheel hop in half, took about two weeks to get use to the vibrations then it settled. Did the trans bushing's and it was like a massage chair for a month haha but I got use to it and love having everything so stiff now. It bothered me for the first week but it does get better, trust me.
Also you might want to consider finding some insulation tape or something, I added some to my glovebox because the mounts made it rattle, this way with some little insulation tape it's no longer plastic on plastic vibrating. Pair TTR's bushing's with Powell's and your front end will be like a fricking tank!
Well I work for FCA so I only use bottled Pennzoil full synthetic, get it pretty cheap too (5166241CA).. I also like to use K&N PS700 or WIX 57082XP (synthetic filter) but since I plan on doing a few oil changes in a short amount of time I'm just gonna use a 1AML0009A Magneti Marelli filter, it's like 3 bucks...

ok yeah that's good to know about ttr mounts. I know the vibes will be harsh at first but i'm not sweating it anyway. My old Nissan Altima had solid mounts and I f%%king loved the vibes felt race car like haha. And those solid mounts made that little car pull off the line like a bat out of Hell brotha lol. And i'll take your advice and insult the glove box. Mine already rattles anyway lol. That's one of the reasons I knew my stock mounts were trashed lol
