Replaced Exhaust cam sensor. Angle error still seems to be acting up.
So I went looking at my past scans and was able to compare, cam angle/ error seems to be the same on start up at least.
I'll grab a scan tomorrow morning when it's sat all night see what happens.

And I think it did work! Would like one more really cold start to verify but I think it's fixed! Ty so much JapEatr for taking the time to help me out, I really really appreciate it.
Here are the instructions for relearning the crankshaft position sensor without a scanner. Start the car and put it in neutral for 2 minutes. The put the car in drive and drive around for 15 minutes at a constant 55 mph do not go under 55 or over 55mph. Try to find a long straight road. Then slow down to 45 mph by taking your foot off the gas but coast to 45 mph for 25 seconds then speed up to 55 mph for 15 seconds remember no braking. Repeat this whole process three more times. Then park your car put in neutral and idle for 2 minutes. This should cause your crankshaft position sensor to relearn your car's crankshaft position.
I can probably just use a snap-on tool tmr.
I spent all night looking at logs. Cam error/ angle is doing the right thing during this precheck but the values just seem to be much higher right now

No avail, still ran into some no starts over the weekend. Flashed my summer tune which has VVT turned off, still didn't start.
I am gonna put a warmer thermostat back in it really soon, currently runs way too cold.
maybe I should pull the valve cover see if my timing chain has play?

okay, Ill try to tear it down hopefully next week verify and swap some cams if need be.
was in the shop this evening and it did the no start thing hot, which was a first. Scary..

-Before replacing the intake cam position sensor, I was getting some really high angle/ error values in the 50s.
-After replacing both sensors, the values reported and how they behave on start up appear to be the same now as how they were acting going back years.
So I don't think it is cam timing anymore, position sensors were very dirty so they've definitely benefited from being replaced, possibly could have just been cleaned but oh well.
So I suspect a third problem is at hand.
The car does start, fires and flares up, surges and stalls on its way to target idle speed.

Yes and no. Sometimes it dies so quickly that throttle seems unresponsive.
Other times it gives me a little bit of time and yes throttle helps and throwing it into gear pretty much stops 90% of it.
I doubt a leak at the manifold/ TB or intake tube, its solid. But maybe on the emission side way at the back, possibly could have something going on back there
I'm gonna pull my MAF, bring it inside give it a good clean and inspection under a light and glass. Maybe I've missed some debris on it, IDK
