last week actually. But I didn't change it for 31000 miles so I have a feeling some **** made it back into the regulator and stuck it closed.... I would think that would explain my 78psi idle fuel pressure

working with a certain type of engine doesnt make u an expert at r&ding a prototype unit...u really need to back off...everyone has there reason for why things are not complete..and if KEN the CEO of Harrop doesnt have a problem with how long were taking..then STFU..ima laugh if u like the outcome of this and they dont accept ur money

I guess that Hahn Racecraft is pathetic too... since its taken them so long to come out with Turbo stuff for the 2.0L Cobalt.

Tell us again... how fast is your Cobalt? You're running 11's by now, right?

Seriously... you are being a

They'll finish when they can.

Damn people are getting hostile in here! I understand how long it takes to tune and work out the kinks with a new blower, trust me! Keep doing what you guys are doing and get some solid numbers when everything is right. No sense in rushing things for no real reason at all.

Paul, you can't access the fuel pump from inside the car under the backseat? If not, that really blows. I can see the tank cover where my pump mounts in the Integra since it's gutted.

I should be there as long as my car is still running....
You wouldn't hapen to have a exploded parts diagram handy would ya? I might tackle this tomorrow morning... just need to find a connector for the walbro since apparently mine didn't come with thte pump

I dunno, but on pretty much any chevy I've ever worked on (a lottt) have to drop the tank... my rx-7 had the nice panel in the trunk.... climb in a few screws and done.... soooo easy lol

I'm at work and don't have access to anything right now and won't until tomorrow evening. Dan might be able to pull something up on alldata pro or something.

Car better be running, I wanna see this. I'm thinking about heading out with the GTO guys Saturday morning and spending the day drinking beer with them.

Actually, the main reason I was asking is because I think I might have found the cause of the injector spike that you and Dan suffer from. I can reproduce now on my car that I have a compressor large enough to come close to the airflow that you guys are pushing.

Tuning the TVS today, I was able to gather a bit more data on whats happening when that spike triggers. I would like to compare any kind of data you might have on it.

sounds good man, I have hours and hours of datalogs saved on my laptop for you to take a look at. I have a feeling what it may be myself, but won't really be able to test it until I have a working fuel pump in the car.... my idc's and my crazy PW is from the lack of flow at the rediculous pressure I'm running right now, I think if I can get that under control with the 255 hp pump, I might be able to dive into this problem

With the TVS, its not as bad as yours and Dan's because it happens at a real low rpm (about 3400) for me.

Either way I feel the problem will resolve itself with the installation of a return fuel system or digital FMU. I believe it has to do with having to take up additional fueling in the MAF after 200kpa and known fuel trims being used while in PE.

thats what I'm thinking... hopefully if I have time I might knock out the whole return setup in one shot, but probably only the pump the way things are looking at the moment. I have a feeling it'a also caused by how the car hits PE mode, enrichment rate, and lack of fuel flow at that burst of fueling,,,, ugh I need to get my return line in... **** is just sitting in a box in my closet lol

Witt,

I'm interested to hear more of your theory on this, its confused my self and several others (take a guess at whom) as to why some cars (dans for example) have that IDC spike and why other cars dont. I had that same issue before i did my re-tune, after the re-tune when i used the maf more up top and much less PE its gone.....

you sound like you and I are on the a same track, thus my interest.

also, a 044 will fit in the stock sender with some "modification"

paul you gonna use that walbero, or you gonna jump towards the welden / bosh?

you can make one if need be....use the stock wire harness for power, ground, switch signal and just wire on to the walbero...a few dollars worth of wire and some parts from radio shack.

good luck man, seems to me that your regulator just said "FUCKKKK" thus the car defaults to max pressure....always the safe side of things to do.

Looks like Harrop picked a good bunch to waste everyones time

everyone else gave you hard time after this post, but dyno numbers on my car from DDMWorks netted 15hp and 8tq over baseline on just a blower swap mimicing output only.

that's the plan. hopefully it's something I can fix in the regulator while it's out... I think since I didn't change my fuel filter for so long (31k) some **** got up in there and stuck it in whatever position its in. Regardless at least eh 255hp flows a lot more than our stocker at those fuel preesures so at least I'll have the fuel I need for now
