Plus like I said, it kills time at work, and if I can help someone out down the line with something I posted in this thread then all the better.
Darren - Tomorrow night, Matts garage....rye is on me, hopefully get the intake manifold port matched and my ICM figured out under the LSJ coil cover. Maybe even pull the valve train out of the 2.2 if I have some help.

More progress:
Got my 2.2 coil to fit in the 2.0 valve cover, both are now off to get powder coated.

Started port matching my intake manifold to the ports on my head, they now match perfect, still need to finish it up.

Now, this has gotten mixed reviews from my buddies, seems like it's a love it or hate it type deal, I think its hilarious tho. Had to go with the GM hybrid style obviously.

Limited progress Saturday night (to much rye drinking, not enough working):
Finished up my intake manifold

Ecotecs everywhere

Ran into a few other small issues, nothing that I can't sort out tho...but regardless still issues. Back in the shop tonight to hammer a few of them out.
Its getting there...slowly...lol

Bit more progress last night, nothing picture worthy so no pictures.
Turns out one of my fuel injectors is fucked...so looks like I'll be needing new ones.....which is probably a good thing since I would of more than likely been over 80% DTC on my LSJ injectors anyways.

Yes it will be tuned on HPTuners by myself, I am getting a base tune start up file tho for the 2.4 bottom end that "oldskool" made for his 2.4 bottom end swapped cav.
I tuned my old motor myself via HPTuners with no issues.
I'm unsure what you are refering to by guess work tho?

Well after alot of cursing and swearing, I managed to swap out my Supertech valve springs last night for the stock ones. This was not an easy task for one person using the POS valve spring compressor in the picture, but its done, my arms are killing me today tho...lol
Supertechs Pulled + POS Valve Spring compressor which broke twice, hence the welds

Back to Stock

Also re-did the bushings in my LZM motor mount. I used some Moog sway bar end links, rubber was super tough, not sure how this will fair out...but I'll give it a go.

Assembling my LSJ head tonight with valves and valve springs.

Well assembling the LSJ head didn't go as planned, turns out Supertech valve springs don't fit in the LSJ head. Maybe this is why you guys have been having so many issues.

A bit of die grinding will sort this out tho.

That would of looked sharp, too late now tho. To be truthful I only got it coated cause the valve cover was oil stained and pitted, had it been a clean valve cover it would of went on stock.
The valve cover will be dirty in no time anyways as this is my "drag car", the only time the hood gets poped is when something is broken...haha.
