Nice.

If you find out, let me know.

One day when I track down a GMR head, I will prob want to install the GMR cams as well.

They've already been tried and failed horribly. There was no good way to secure them properly from the oil pressure. The BLE lash adjusters seem to be a much better idea:

BLE Solid Lifter Kit Chevy Cobalt 05-UP 2.2L ECOTEC

No, if your machinist were to disassemble the factory lash adjuster, then weld on some material on the bottom half or fab a new bottom half in a different height, that would probably work out well. The other thought, was finding larger diameter follower bearings to make up for the smaller base circle. I looked extensively for such bearings without luck, but that doesn't mean they are not out there or that they couldn't be fabricated as well.

Yea I noticed how the lifter bore is with the half moon shape. I was telling Joe we will probably have to affix the shim to the bottom of the lash adjuster. Well figure something out, and if not I already have the solids anyways

I wish i woukd have known about the ble adj before I bought bates solids that have to be machined for lash. If we can't get the oem ones to work maybe ill opt for those so no machining will be needed and will have an adjustment for lash further down the road

Sorry Ken, I've been recommending someone try the BLEs with the GMRs for several years now. No one wanted to bite.

That's good to know. Last I checked, bates and jesel were the only ones making solids.
