Well it will most likely be running smoothly as an SS/SC/NA by the end of January. Snail, I don't know. I'm looking at close to $3000 in misc ****. So yeah.... Well I guess I can save money a little quicker knowing it only takes $20 to fill my car on premium Last time I filled my car up, it was $48, and I paid $4.12/gal

2g's for a turbo ehh, you don't have enough motor for what a 2g turbo can push.

You're more in the $ ~1000 range. That's good news.

As for the manafold, u sill want a set up like mine?

Think of all the money u could have saved if u just would have gone with how I/others recomended.
Nice to see you with your head on stright tho, haveing a plan is far to over looked.

wanna threadjack for a minute here,

how does the stock 2.2 head flow compared to the 2.0? like how you've picked out a turbo specific application of the gt30r, would the 2.2 be in that same range??

with my little 16g would a manifold like you have 06black be worth while?

and would it be better to stay at my stock CR (10:1) or drop it?

I wouldn't have really saved any money. I just built the motor, I didn't really spend money on anything else. The only thing thats gonna cost me more money is getting cam blanks, and re machining the valves.

P.S. Your grammar is ******* awful!!! Did you drop out of elementary school!??!

I'm just giving you ****.

You can always start out on something small... like a Evo 3 Big 16G. You can still make mid to high 300whp with one of those without stressing it too much. I could get you one right now for $200.

Perhaps I'll get two 16G's. 400 whp on pump gas should be possible

AWD DSM's have made just over 400awhp on an EvoIII 16G, IIRC. They pretty much have to destroy the turbo to make that kind of power, but it can be done very easily.

You should be able to make at least 450whp with pump gas on a Hahn Super 20G... and that'll cost you just under $1k.

and its a garbage turbo.

a project like this, one thats focused on power, has but one option.

a DBB CHRA, preferably with ceramic barrings at that.

I could do four Garrett GT-12s!!! Each is good for 130 hp, so four should be good for 520 hp!

I ported the blower myself, so it didn't cost me anything, AND I ported it many months before I blew the motor.

ya i do, but this is something where i was always under the impression that they are the same.

i know why to lower the compression ratio, thats simple, but im wondering with my car how its gonna affect things with tuneing. i plan on dropping it but its just one of those things where im asking.

and as far as the manifold goes, i know there are benefits, but my car gets boost fairly quickly so i dont think its needed with my current setup. but if i were to ever upgrade the turbo and drop cr, thats more factors i'll be dealing with. im sure i'll find my answer while digging up some info but i thought id save time by just asking away. aparently its a no no.

well off to go find info w00t

If turbo sponsorship fail, I will most likely be using two smaller (cheaper) turbos, instead of one big one. I'd be saving money for 8 months in order to pay full price for a good turbo.

he's running the car NA until he can afford a turbo.
as for the 2.2 alt and crap, you need that to get rid of the s/c and not have to run that POS TAg pulley setup.
