Dude, when I had the high flow cat my 2.2L was loud as hell, and I had an interior (for most of the time).

Yours will be equally, if not louder than my lil 2.2L.

I'd like to see that race too, and maybe even race you myself. I don't think it will be a total slaughter.

Your car is prolly like 140ish whp, mine will be at least 180 whp, maybe more. Plus you have an auto, those gears will kill you. Plus my car is lighter.

yea slightly modded 2.4 we're probably close to the same WHP with me having a bit more trq.. but you have a gearing advantage if i remember correctly by a slight bit

 

Its a lot more than a slight bit. 45 in 1st, 87 in 2nd, 130 in 3rd. Thats a pretty big advantage

Not really, hondas have really short gears actually. My redline is 8200, and the redline of most VTAK motors is 8500, so HA! lol

Those long gears may actually hurt you since your cams and head are designed for much higher air flow. You don't have to shift as much, but you may be out of the powerband when you do.

I'm willing to bet that you will beat me in 1st but once 2nd gear comes in I'll have the advantage.

Keep letting the cheerleaders keep your hopes afloat but im almost positive even after you "finish" your build the success will be short lived. You should have put a stock motor back in that car and left it alone. I'll check back in on this thread in another year or so and see what your up too.
