eh 60-1 will do the job easily go ceramic ball bearing., borg warner s256 is a nice choice too, turbonetics GTK series are more than just a pretty turbo though. Those things are close to works of art. I'd love to slap a GTK550 on my car (and cam I might be willing to give you a good deal on my turbo lol) GTK's run Billet wheels, anti surge housings and a whole bunch of other little goodies to bring efficiency up.
Either way, save some cash, buy the right parts, and that motor will see 400whp easy.

all the turbonetics love is making me sick, i'm am not a fan.
my precision 60-1 ****** rocks! precision housings = the best.

well of course precision is uber...... I'm still debating what I"m going to switch to when the motor is done. SHould be fine with my current setup up to @500whp, but I always want more, so hopefully the rX-7 can satisfy me needs to go 9's lol.
safe or not, things always can break. even at low boost (since the motor is not designed to be boosted, you're pushing it past it's tested ratings) just warning ya, pick up a cheap beater to have on the side just in case.

and i also look at mckurley's car.he's pushing 12 psi on stock motor and has benn fine but i do agree.**** happens but thats when ill bite the bullet and fully forge it.but it will be prolly about 5psi at first till i get forged internals

What kinda turbo would I need to make 400 whp on 15-16 psi? Thats my boost range for pump gas. I only get 91 octane (not going to use fuel additive, or meth), and in AZ we have shitty air most of the year, during the summer outside air temps soar to 140+ degrees. I need to run pretty low boost to make 400 whp on 91 octane with detonating into oblivion.

They way I'm getting my intercooler (custom made), I may go with an air-water intercooler. A nice large resevior, so when I race or what not I can dump freezing cold water in there and have lower than ambient IAT2.

stop what youre doing and research find out EXACTLY what you want and save up for it... right now you are a pipe dream just going here there and everywhere...
and oh yea.. if you cant afford to buy 1 good turbo.. dont even bother.. because sponsorship of not .. if something ***** up theres a possibility you have to pay for repairs.. then what...

How do you think I blew the motor? At 150 mph on the highway racing an SRT-4.
