I cant find a rebuild kit for mine.and mr.darksun,I just got the turbo literally 2 days ago and have other parts coming.k bai!

all the turbonetics love is making me sick, i'm am not a fan.

my precision 60-1 ****** rocks! precision housings = the best.

well of course precision is uber...... I'm still debating what I"m going to switch to when the motor is done. SHould be fine with my current setup up to @500whp, but I always want more, so hopefully the rX-7 can satisfy me needs to go 9's lol.

that's not a good way to start a project.
Just remember once you mod a car that severely, daily driving it, well doesn't always happen. Hence I have 2-3 cars at a time lol.

well im gonna be running this safe..small turbo and low boost.Then i can focus on internals.Im not gonna be rushed to do it as I have 80 hours of vacation to use.

safe or not, things always can break. even at low boost (since the motor is not designed to be boosted, you're pushing it past it's tested ratings) just warning ya, pick up a cheap beater to have on the side just in case.

and i also look at mckurley's car.he's pushing 12 psi on stock motor and has benn fine but i do agree.**** happens but thats when ill bite the bullet and fully forge it.but it will be prolly about 5psi at first till i get forged internals

agreed.I drove one vehicle that was boosted and instantly got addicted..but the peer pressure was feirce..It was a 500 AWHP WRX wagon.lol

What kinda turbo would I need to make 400 whp on 15-16 psi? Thats my boost range for pump gas. I only get 91 octane (not going to use fuel additive, or meth), and in AZ we have shitty air most of the year, during the summer outside air temps soar to 140+ degrees. I need to run pretty low boost to make 400 whp on 91 octane with detonating into oblivion.

Someone list a good turbo from Turbonetics, Precision, and Borg Warner. I'm still leaning far towards a GT-K 550, ESPECIALLY if I get a sponsorship.

More boost = More heat.

More heat = Higher chance of detonation.

Shitty gas = Even HIGHER chance of detonation.

oy even i'm going to say this now but you still have a whole lot to learn about turbo's and turbo setups man

stop what youre doing and research find out EXACTLY what you want and save up for it... right now you are a pipe dream just going here there and everywhere...

and oh yea.. if you cant afford to buy 1 good turbo.. dont even bother.. because sponsorship of not .. if something ***** up theres a possibility you have to pay for repairs.. then what...
