This is a subject which has been gone over many times here on this thread as well as others. Give me a call directly at 1.801.447.2559 and I would be more then happy to go over the various types of fluids you can use. Additionally, be sure to read our article

What types of fluids can I use with my water methanol injection system?

With our Stage 1 systems, you want to set the activation point between 70-80% of your total peak boost.

For example, if you were running 17psi this would be an activation point between 12-14 psi.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

ok it would be nice if you had instructions setup on your website on how to install your trunk mount kit. does it need a switched power source or can one just hook it to a constant source?

Instructions are included with every system. Additionally, we pre-assemble and pre-wire each trunk mount system before it's packaged. Thereby, eliminating much of the work for you. We will see what we can do about loading the instructions on our website.

As for hooking it up. Use a switched power source. Do not hook this up straight to the battery.

Here's some pics of my stage 1 standard kit. I have had it on for about 4 weeks now and havent even used half of my windshield wiper fluid tan. I run a 50/50 mix of pure methanol and distilled water. has worked great so far, but will be better once i get it tuned.

Thanks Rodney.

Hey Kelby,

Looks like you finally got everything worked out. Thats great. Looks like you put sometime into the installation integrating into the factory wiring harness. Good deal. I'm happy to se you have everything up and running. Thanks again for the business and support. Hey did you get those extra stickers and how did you like them?

Hey Kelby,

Made the corrections. Thanks for the heads up on that. Let me know how it goes on the dyno. Sounds like your set and ready. Thanks again for the support and pictures. I will see about having your pictures up dated with the new ones.

wow...great thread..i'm tryna update myself with wat i can do as far as not getting tuned...i'm buyin a zzp stage 3 in a few weeks and i was debating whether i wanted to get a heat exchanger or meth kit...i was under the impression i needed a tune for meth till i read this thread...now i have a question..i'll be gettin tuned from zzp with all my mods and since noone around me can tune i'm left to do things w/o tuning till i find someone but anyway...Questions: If i get a meth kit and i'm on essentially a stage 2 tune can i expect to get a decent reduction in iat temps and some performance out of your meth kit? Down the road can I run pure methanol <makes me rich w/o tune, and a 30-50 dry shot nitrous <makes me lean w/o tune, together and expect them to even each other out w/o needing a tune?

Yes. Regardless if tuned or untuned, IAT's are going to drop by injecting water methanol into the intake. Until you get a tune start by running a 70/30 mix of water methanol to begin with. You can change up the mixture in the water meth container to bring in more or less fuel as needed. Watch your A/F with and without the water methanol injection. Without a tune you can expect to pick up about 10-15 horsepower at the tire with no knock.

Yes, you can change up the mixture in the water meth container to bring in more fuel if needed or to compensate for a dry shot of nitrous. Keep some water in the mix as it will help to keep the combustion chamber temps down and reduce EGT's.

We've been working much more with nitrous oxide in the last 4-5 months. Be sure to read our article on using water methanol injection with nitrous. You can click on the picture to read the article.

Sorry if it's been answered. But do you just tap into your existing windshield washer fluid if you want to go the route without the spare tank? How would one go about this? Thanks!!

P.S. any GB's coming up? Soon to be ordering a stage 1 kit fender kit!

Yes, you can simply tap into your existing windshield washer container using the supplied fitting which comes with the water methanol kit. It's a s simple as drilling a hole and inserting the fitting into it.

No GP purchases coming up. We did one about 2 months ago. Sorry. Let me know if you have any other questions or how I can help.
