Has anybody found these tail lights in the actual red like I have pictured in the op? I like this style, and the fact that they come with an extra set of trunk lights in case I screw up the Skyline mod, but I really don't want them in this smoke color. All the ebay adds I see say exactly as pictured, and they show red lenses, so I hope they're not lying.

Anybody wanna photoshop this to a black car for me so I can get an idea of what the smoke color would look like?

TheDude and LS1Fbody...those retros...are those E46 shrouds that you used around the projector? If so was there any modifications that you needed to do to make it fit in there. I'm going to give making some retros a shot and those are the shrouds I was looking into. I have my old stock headlamps just sitting in the garage and I figured...eh why not.

What to go with

I own a 07 cobalt ss/sc(dark red). Will post a pic soon. Don't know what headlights to go with. Seems like the black housing ones look good no matter what color car.

They are T1, or 3MM LED's.

Here is the write-up for how to replace them and where to buy them/what size they are: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-replace-burnt-out-halo-68874/

K2Motors has the 1st generation headlights with CCFL halos in them.
I guess it's a brand new product.......
I'm going to buy them & test them out & take some pictures.

I am confused.

HID's are the light (low-beam). The halos are the rings.... You can't drive down the road at night with your halos on (well, you can, but you won't see too much). And all four halos are relatively the same thing....

only if you have a 50w bulb to go with it...then it'll be very bright...never heard of 50w...I use 55w in my high beam...
