painted black no. but if you tint them a little it will shine through still

it's all a matter of luck really. Depo and one other company (not sure on name) are pretty much who makes all our aftermarket headlights. Any of them can leak, it's all luck really, you can even get oem lights from the dealer that leak.

I was looking for advice on hid fogs..

I just installed my 8000k hid's on my blacked out stock-style headlights for 06 cobalt coupe, and I was wondering if I should go with 3000k fogs, or something more blue like the 8000k or 10000k...

Anyone with pics or recommondations!?

The exact same thing happened to me. It's because our stock lighting wires aren't giving out enough constant power to the HID's. Get a relay kit online (I wasn't able to find them at any local stores) specific for h11 and install it yourself. Takes 2 minutes. What it does is take the power to the ballast STRAIGHT from the battery. I got a 40A relay just in case, but I think 20amps should be enough (for 35W hid's)

i have the smoked third gen prjectors, and my LED halos dont seem too bright... is it because i have them wired to the turn signals? and not running from their own power source (ie thru a fuse adapter from the fuse box) ?
