After searching through 26 pages, I finally found a picture of what I'm looking for! not many people paint the reflector for the turn signals, but I want to do it with mine, and i want to know if the output is still good.
Are the turn signals still good and visible if the reflector is painted black??

it's all a matter of luck really. Depo and one other company (not sure on name) are pretty much who makes all our aftermarket headlights. Any of them can leak, it's all luck really, you can even get oem lights from the dealer that leak.
pretty much wat tommy said.. my first set of retros leaked like a ****.. couldnt get them to seal for the life of me so i got rid of them.. i had gen2's that leaked but i fixed them.. n now i have retros i made that dont leak.. its all luck

I was looking for advice on hid fogs..
I just installed my 8000k hid's on my blacked out stock-style headlights for 06 cobalt coupe, and I was wondering if I should go with 3000k fogs, or something more blue like the 8000k or 10000k...
Anyone with pics or recommondations!?

you wanna do the Demon Eye for the Fogs? for an HiD kit, hit up The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications an get some H11's
heres a pic of mine after i changed the LED's in them.

anyone else have the problem of the inside of their lense having minor scratches or cracks in them, maybe from the sun or something?
and i used to have UV blacklight bulbs too but i gave them to a friend to put in his.

The exact same thing happened to me. It's because our stock lighting wires aren't giving out enough constant power to the HID's. Get a relay kit online (I wasn't able to find them at any local stores) specific for h11 and install it yourself. Takes 2 minutes. What it does is take the power to the ballast STRAIGHT from the battery. I got a 40A relay just in case, but I think 20amps should be enough (for 35W hid's)
i have the smoked third gen prjectors, and my LED halos dont seem too bright... is it because i have them wired to the turn signals? and not running from their own power source (ie thru a fuse adapter from the fuse box) ?
