Depending on how you have your retros setup, I just snipped the wire in with the positive red wire to the HID light. I wrote up an install when the were the "bricks". Here is a pic of how I did mine:

And full install instructions. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-...nstall-291137/

I should get that updated for the new version, though I think it's self explanatory over the prior one's

yeah thats to wire for gen 3 headlights like you have.
and yeah dude the new ones are so easy to hook up.
i just NEEED to get the 50% dimming hooked up there way too bright.
someone says that the yellow wire on the stock harness (connected from the car) on the driver side is low beam. and the tan and white wire on passanger side is lowbeam.
but i do not know.

it is not at the harness you refer to, its where I showed you in the pic u sent....top right corner is the blue connectors for the headlights. Tap orange from there.
Its orange (low beam), Pink is high beam, black is ground. There is only those three off the blue connector.
Tap into orange, if the quick splice are not working then move the plastic cover to the side, solder the connection, use heat shrink and bam its a done deal, take mayb 30mins .

then use that. turn on the high beam or low beam or whatever you are testing for... then with the ground touching a ground on the car see which wires have voltage. if you are looking for high/low you will probably see voltage on parking as well so once u have your 2 wires turn on only the parking light and out of the 2 that had voltage earlier the one without voltage now will be your high/low

testing takes 5 minutes at the most if its raining and you only have 1 leg and 1 arm. Why would you even consider going off what someone says instead of testing and potentially breaking something in your 150.00 LED's???

Tap into orange,

Or if your harness looks like below.....then it will be either purple or orange off the BLUE CONNECTOR, I don't have this harness so I can not say which is which however this is where the multimeter comes in handy, switch to 12vdc and ground the ground, then turn on low beam and stick the positive end of the multi meter into the plug for orange or purple, one of them will give u a 12V signal with the low beams on. That's low beam. Start at the blue connector.

I put tape around most of them regardless. Good practice. Just don't over do it, or you will have a bad time getting it off later.
