White wire is to reduce the bulb brightness in half when connect to the low beam positive wire.

Made a how to with the pics in there. I'm sorry the album didn't work. I made it public and tested it to.

Yeah it does. You have to put on the collar that's in the package and the 4mm screws. Also you need to put a gasket in too.

so where would the white wire go if one has lights such as gen 4's retros or even stock headlights?
since the gen 1-3 have those plugs like you have where u put your white wire where the gen 4 and stock and retros do not?

to the low beam wire. also theres a good chance part of the LED is diffused. that makes sense.

is the entire bulb scuffed or just the very back part above the silver?

So I just installed the 5K V3 Triton switchbacks, and they look pure white, not a little blue hue 5K HID color I'm used to... They look more like 4300K HID... (see last photo below)

Might actually pick up some 4300K HID H1 bulbs for my projectors to see if they match up better.

Other than a little color mismatch, I'm very pleased with the product.

The pictures below are in a blacked out housing (including reflector)... VERY bright.

The back is suppose to act like a heat sink i believe. They don't seem to get as hot as my last set though.

For the comparison here's their old switchbacks I had on... I think they called it 6K, but it matches perfectly with my DDM 5K HID in the projectors:

I just ordered some 4500K bulbs from DDM Tuning website to match the pure white 5K switchbacks... Since it's shipped all the way from China or wherever, it should be here in a week or two. Hopefully sooner.

Anyone have frontal shots with these? So far, I am not impressed with the V3s. On VLEDs site, they try to make it seem like these have color to Mercedes and Porsche LEDs. But with the pics you all posted, the lights have a yellow tint to them and don't look any different compared to the cheaper LEDs

Depending on Michigan weather and the amount of snow we got I'll get some. Holiday stuff with family and like I said, weather, have taken up some of my time.

Snap some pics of the back wire harness and I'll try to point you in the right direction. You can email me if you want for a faster response: z062003vette@gmail.com

You shouldn't need to splice any wires. The dimming for the bulb is optional.

if you wanted the dimming then ya a quick splice works solder tape and zipties work a little better thou (resisting weather) or liquid tape
