Has anyone just cut the two wires and crossed them over???

The pins sound like such a hassle for a lot of people, when I moved them they looked the exact same. Correct me if I'm wrong but might be an easier solution for some of you.

well, I had them make me a set of these retrofits and now time for a 5000 mile review.

I love them, the light output is amazing and they look pretty good on the car. The Eagle eye headlights they used though do not line up with the bumper as well as the stockers do, easily fixable but im just lazy. I have gap between the bumper and headlight do to this but its not noticeable till your right up on the car.

I have noticed that when I hit small bumps or vibrating surfaces on the road, I see vibration in the light. I cant tell if its light flickering or if its the light slightly vibrating due to the bumpage. Its not enough to bother me yet. Its too cold out for me to take a headlight off and check it to see if anything is loose. I think these headlight were a great buy for anyone who wants to have more light output than before and thats it.

good shot at what the chrome headlight housing looks like with projectors. Dont mind the LS1 rx-7 in the background

this photo reveals the little bit of gap I was talking about, but this can be fixed with some careful washer placement to move the headlights out a bit.

close up shot.

4300K projectors from BUYHIDs.com + 4300K fogs from DDM.

4300K light color. This is a photo taken below the cutoff line so you can see what light output looks like during the day.

trying to fit in with other amazing cars... not working, lol.

I switched the blue & white wires in the plug and now my drivers side works fine.. the passenger side is still not switching from low beams.. I have annoyed Mike to death about it yesterday and today and I don't really want to bug him any more.. if anyone can help me, I would much appreciate it..
btw, sorry for annoying you Mike.

Wires need to be like this. Also make sure the round plug with the 4 prongs is in correctly

2007 Cobalt SS/SC

I have a couple problems I ran into. Going to ask on here before I start plugging and unplugging everything again.

1- Took DRL fuse out but still have DRL's... at the same time I lost my A/C. I thought I might of pulled the wrong fuse on accident, but I looked on the fuse box and on BuyHIDs.com and they both have the same 10amp fuse right above the big one.

2- Passenger headlight. Turned the car on for the first test and everything worked. Realized something was up because my lights came on when I started the car and my A/C was flashing. Turned car off and after checking the DRL fuse, I turned the car back on. Both lights once again came on right away. Passenger light stayed on for maybe a whole second then turned off and won't come back on again.

3- Hi/Lo beams. I feel like this is something that a lot of people have messed up because of their own error, but I still don't know what I did haha. Lights are always on Hi, I believe. Huge hot spot and know that the cut off shield is always up. When I switch from Hi's to Lo's I can see the cut off shield flash then go away, but lights look the same.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

i have a slight flickering in my right headlight right now, it became more pronounced as time went by. I have a feeling there is a short some where probably when I installed the power wire to the jumper prong. I will check it this weekend.

Make sure the flat spots on the 4 prong connector matches up. I had it wrong and my high beams weren't working

Did u switch the pins on the blue connector? see the picture above but i think the blue and white need to switch spots its very easy to do and wasnt listed in the PDF on buyhids. also be careful when plugging in the connector to make sure the pins go in and dont get bent. also id double check your groundsAny help is appreciated. Thanks.
Thats all i can think of

So found out that I am not getting power back from the " HID Xenon Controller" or Relay Harness on my passenger side. I am going to send a PM to Mike but did anyone else have this problem???

As for the DRL's I hope that once I get a new one it will solve itself. We'll see though.

All grounds are good, all fuses are good, switched the prongs, prongs inside are good and straight. Made sure it was the right fuse for the DRL's.

I don't know why the relay would go on the first try but hopefully I can get a new one before snow comes.

Hi/Low

I have an issue where I think I'm running high beams all the time. I dont think its in the wiring, so maybe the relay isnt making the switch. On the automatic setting I it appears to be the high beams coming on, because when I pull the lever for actual high beams nothing happens. Not to mention that when the low beams (8k) are supposed to be on, they look like 4300k or 5k, very white.

Any ideas? Please help
Thanks
