Any ideas? Please help

I got the same thing going on right now. I did everything the PDF install said to do as well as switching the wires around. My fog light kit from DDM took almost 5 minutes to install. Not sure why these relays are having so many issues but hopefully I can get a new one soon and hopefully that fixes everything... we'll see.

As of right now when lights are on automatic/low beams and I pull the lever for high beams, I can hear a clicking noise in the relay but the nothing happens with the lights. I'll check the 4 pronged wire but I dont think thats it.

Don't pull the lever, push it forward like you are supposed to, to have hi's on full time. What happens then?

Is the clicking the relay or the cut off shield in the projectors? I thought it was the cut off.

Crash/Mike, I know what the relay does; when I get a new one that works, will I still have this problem too? I know that the relay technically does not have anything to do with the cut off shield going up or down. I thought that this might be happening because of the missing relay/ballast/bulb.

Anything else it could be besides the Ground, Power, not swapping the white and blue wires, or Plugs hooked up incorrectly???

I sure hope it doesn't lol. The only thing I had to do was swap two wires and match plugs haha. I hope I can do that.

I dont know what the clicking is actually, just sounds like its coming from the relay. On another note, what swapping of white and blue wires are you referring to btw?

read back through this thread. if you don't know about that, it's probably your problem.

lol. Page 14 shows exactly how the wires should go. Your blue and white wires on the new relay harness need to be swapped.

anyone else getting a slight flicker in the light as the car moves?

Its almost as if I accelerate and the light starts to flicker "lightly" it almost looks like a strobe light set to the highest possible speed almost to the point that it would appear as if their was no strobe.

does ur driver side turn off when u put the brights on? cause mine did that and it ended up a pin wasnt in properly on the blue plug. if not try connecting the passenger side light to the driver side and see if it does the same thing. i think i also read that some people had to reswap the wires but only on one plug.
Also check the wires on blue plug to make sure they are making a solid connection a couple of mine had to be crimped/soldered

I had the same problem. check the round black 4 pronged plug and make sure the flat spots on it match up.. if you would just read through a little you would see where other people helped me with the same problem.. it'd save you a lot of hassle if you just read it all at once.. I found that out the hard way
if that doesn't work, then you've effed something else up.

Ya I've read most of the stuff. I don't see how people messed up the round 4 pronged plug lol, seems to me it only goes in one way. Anyway I looked a little closer last night and two wires got separated on the driver side headlight so I'm almost positive that was it lol. I've been doing work in the parking garage at UF where my car is, so light has been an issue. I attribute that to missing this earlier

if that doesn't fix it, make sure you check that 4 pronged round plug.. it's soft plastic and it'll still connect without the flat spots matching up.

I have verified that my right headlight does indeed flicker. At cold start I saw it flickering pretty badly so I got out and looked at it closely. no vibration, the flickers occur at random, its only the passenger headlight.

My guess is the connection to the + terminal is not holding up to well, or the wire has a short in it somewhere.. It would make sense that its a problem with power supply since the wire is that much longer to reach the right headlight. If the flickering gets any worse, I will investigate.

what can cause the flicker? Are there any specific points I should be looking at on these headlights? I scoped out my connection points to the power terminal and frame and they appear fine. I followed the wires as well and they seem complete and undamaged and zip tied in areas away from moving parts. Nothing is in a location where water can directly pour onto them.. Im confused as to why they are flickering now and they only flicker pretty much to throttle response?

Its just the passenger side headlight.
