Don't get me wrong, it would be nice, but I'm pretty content where I sit (I mean the local LSJ guys use me as a measuring stick for 'fast' - that alone is a little ego trip!)...

I bought a ring, and am paying it off...
I accidentally bought the 'holy grail' of Nirvana items (I'm kind of a big fan), so I'm paying that off...
Now my primary focus is on house/prep for having a wife, and seeing about getting the '70 fixed up.

That's very true. Currently in Winninpeg there is no Cobalt even close to me. And that was before I popped my motor. So I'm content with that haha.

suspense?

not one iota of it was created by me

Dustin, you've used up your allotment of vote for 24 hours...

if anyone looks at the items I've bought for my car in the past (both installed, and not yet installed), this one fits right in with them, and should come as no real shocker...

I have two from Ohio car shows, and one from the Camaro & Friends S&S last year...

I don't use any of them.

I read your comment. No rules were stated before you decided to do this guessing game so no holds barred haha

When I went from my 2.8" to 2.6" the bottom end torque was like night and day. $40 shipped?

last time I checked with Vince, a pulley change was totally fine;
he just didn't want customers to make gargantuan changes and expext a completely new tune at no charge...

Dustin I didn't see the need for a rule, because quite frankly I didn't think that picture post would have garnered this much attention...

Ok, how's this for a clue (it will probably TOTALLY give it away);
Both of you two have one of these;
Not exactly the same, but similar...
I cannot recall if Jon has one (installed or not)...
Ardian's/Joel's car had one installed...

LOL

I wouldn't say it's needed but you will definitely heat soak much quicker without it and it would help keep your IATs under control. Any cooling mods you have will just recoupe your temps quicker after a pull. Things like water/meth or nos will actually lower your IAT2s

nitrous might lower intake air charge, but IAT isn't as much of a concern with it, because of how much oxygen it introduces to the combustion cycle - but!! ~ the increased oxygen content will make combustion hotter ~ to the point where people who don't take care melt holes in their pistons with it...

IMHO meth is safer ~ even if it doesn't add as much oxygen, and have as much power resulting from it...

I wasn't saying to run nos lol. Just so many people think "cooling mods" actually lower your IAT2s. They don't.

iirc here's my mod/purchase list to date:
(in order of purchase, not install, not including modifications I've created/done on my own)
  1. K&N 'drop-in' filter
  2. GMS1
  3. OTTP/Powell Stage 2 mounts
  4. GMPP "all weather" floor mats
  5. Lloyds carpeted "SS" embroidered (summer) floor mats
  6. "SS" badge for above glove box door (deleted from all SS cars 3rd quarter 2009 model year)
  7. GMPP "SS" underhood liner
  8. GMPP/CED GMS1 pigtails
  9. MPx downpipe
  10. Trifecta (not set to any specific boost level)
  11. SS/TC 'PSI' boost gauge

I think that's about it... but am not 100% certain.
