I'd probably just say every few seasons if you want to be safe. I have a good 60k or so on my F35 and it hasn't been changed, that's the secret to it holding up to all those 7k digs on slicks

 

I'd swear the tech who did the work on my car was part gorrilla;
Wheel lock nut was apparently impacted on;
An engine wiring ground was left off;
The upper charge pipe was left disconnected from the support bracket;
The fill and drain plugs were so tight that I nearly broke my allen key cracking them open;
... I also don't know if it was him, but my intake wasn't even tightened onto the turbo inlet...

Oh well, at least I've remedied it all now.

That fluid was looking like some awesome mettalic paint!

 

Ya the nicest color I've seen was when I blew the trans in my truck with atf in it was a red gunmetal

 

When my old boss (at the mechamic shop) would have a customer buy a new car, he would have them come in anout aweek or three after their new car purchase;
He'd drain the oil out, shine a flashlight into it to show the metalflake, then explain why the car manufacturers wouldn't cite you needed to get that stuff out as soonor often as you really should if you planned on keeping your vehicle over the long haul.

It wasn't that my BFH wasn't big enough, I don't have anything to brace it on like a bench or table. The press at southgate got it out no problem for free! Haha

 

It's strange I'm at home on a Friday and it feels like I should be doing something like work but I don't have to it's nice!

I don't have much choice in the matter;
I only hold a Canadian citizenship, and can't legally live and work anywhere else...

So, I will on occasion grumble, but I make the best of it.
