2009 LSJ/LNF Throwdown Competition
You saw a 321whp car run 12s. It never made a pass on nitrous. You'd have to take the twincharged car agaisnt me. That stock turboed LNF isn't going to take me rolling.
And I have a quick question, why does Matt M hold a 400whp dyno for the SS/TC if he says he's only doing 330whp on his SS/TC?

We broke 400whp testing a Bullseye S256 turbo swap. I took the 256 off because we needed a stock turbo for testing all of the parts we are releasing. You can read the 400whp thread. It's all posted in there. I came out and stated that we will be pushing the stock turbo to the 11s. Since we recently hit 11s, the 256 will be going back on soon.
He had a big turbo on it, and took it off IIRC.
Also, how do you measure times from a roll? Just curious, this must be a new fangled racing that I have never heard of. You bring up track times, then you bring up roll racing, which one do you want to talk about. Let's quit being bi-polar here, and get the topic straight. Track racing is the only racing that matters, because it is the only racing that is measurable. End of story.

I think that's a pretty good measurement. Mind you, that was before I even had a Harrop on my car.
So you're saying this isn't an accurate measurement of my car's power vs. a 311whp gutted RSX-S?

Thank you. Why does it always have to be a numbers game? My car drives on the street. If it can outrun cars on the street that are faster than mine at the track, whos car is honestly faster? Let's say I make more power, can outrun the car on the street, but can't beat it at the track. Which one is the most accurate description of the car's performance? Mind you, the drag strip requires driver skill and proper launching/set up.

i dont mind getting bumped one, but for the record...
i was mid 10.s afr, and at the end of the run, my egt peaked at 1350 for .03 seconds.
my octane was way too high to make power safely without more data going to the track.
all i could buy was vp 109, and after 1 run i knew it was way too slow. sure a guy can spike the timing, but then cant use the giggle gas. i ended up dumping some 91 in to make about 98 octane,
which, IMHO; is still too high. i asked a couple people with experience for help, and offered to pay for said advice, but it would seem they are too rich to want my money, and would rather lol at me with a blown up motor.....so i played it safe. the car has more in it, but its hard to beat the fun i get from my 10 second ride. hell, even my new daily camaro will see 11's easily, as ive had it to a 12.4@114 on stock int/exh.

I wish it wasn't so damn cold here now... Looks like the balt is getting put away this week, unless we have another nice Friday or 2... REALLY wished I coulda got into the 12's. 13.05 was the best I could muster.
