Let me know if you want to run 13" wheels instead of 15"s.

This year sucked for numbers on my part. Things kept breaking and I just didn't have any time.

Exactly. It's so hard not to spin first and second with the 4.45s. I had footballs in the rear and it helped quite a bit with squating and movement but nothing for wheel spin. Next year is a story though.

To be honest, with a nice wheel/tire set up, some e47 I think it might even goes 10s. I think the reason the cobalt community doesn't see a lot of 10 and 11 second cars is because no one takes the time or the effort for a nice wheel/tire set up when making power. Your car has potential.

^^^ this...but you have to consider some people don't spend enough time at the track to warrant dropping a grand on wheels and slicks.

I only have about $425 into my wheels and slicks. I do understand where you are coming from though.

Closest place for E is like an hour and a half away. Really isn't that good to dd it like that especially when its that far away. Maybe this upcoming year though. I got a beater now that I'm planning on keeping for a good bit.

Last year I was at the track every other weekend. I put 109 runs on my car last year. Half of them with BFG DRs. They sucked to say the least though. I even ended up getting nitto nt05s and running them. They were pretty decent but I then upgraded to the zfr and actually liked my Cooper RS3As over them so much more.
Like I've stated before, next year will definitely be different. I'm tired of the spinning and bs.

I agree, i only run E on the weekends when racing, then switch my tunes for DD. I agree with the spinning crap. If you can throw down on a turbo, and trans might as well spend the cash to put the power down.

That makes me feel a lot better about my 13.5@ 107-108ish, its so damn hard cut a good 60s and not spin 2nd in a theses cars. my goal for this year is to driver mod myself to a 13.1 (maybe a 12.99999 with a good tail wind ) on street tires.

You need slicks to 60ft a front wheel drive car, it's not gonna happen on street tires.

Thankya. It is pretty nice actually haha. And expensive. Having a custom set of axles made as well to replace the LNFs. I just need a chance to work on it. I've touched the car, And I mean literally just walked past and touched it, maybe 3 or 4 times since late 2012.

Exactly, Hondas have been doing it for years. Want a 1.6 60ft you need big slicks. With the proper weight reduction and wheel/tires it doesn't take much power to go fast.

Those actually aren't that big, only .3" taller than stock lsj tires which equates to only around .15" around.
