he's right it will.. like you said it's air load values.. it limits those even when you have mods to let it flow better..

look at how when the dyno hits 260 trq it just keeps bouncing off of that.. the same way it wouldve stockat like 240-260 ( depending on dyno) the desired airload value doesn't move up at all so there would be no way to continue to show gains from mods without a tune.. vendors have shown this

thank you. you can see it's only at 6500, and it's rising sharply right when he let off. that was on a base TVS tune. since then i have dialed in the maf, and cleaned up a lot of the drivability portions of the tune. i am anxious to get back to the dyno...

oh boy... where to start?
TVS with 2.7" pulley, ported intake manafold, dual pass with opt B, ZZP H/E, OTTP 3" intake, CTI header,3" CTI catless DP, and 3" CTI catback, 80lb injectors, OTTP return fuel system with modded walbro fuel pump, E-85, 1 step coolder NGK sparkplugs, sparkplug spring inserts, MRZ light weight crank pulley, SPEC stage 3+ clutch with lightweight flywheel, custom tune by OTTP, STOCK ENGINE!!! NO HEAD OR BOTTOM END WORK!!! Mods comming this spring - OTTP fuel rewire kit, possible LS4 TB, poss built engine!
I think that about covers it, lol

note that that dyno graph was with an off the street tune, and i was running a full point lean at the top end, i was told with a little tuning which i have had done and some better airflow (driving vs boxfan) i should easily be past 350whp. havn't had it redynoed since i got tuned!
