I don't even have the bottom bracket as ZZP doesn't provide it with their SC kit and they claim you don't need it. Places more stress on the top manifold to head bolts but must not be enough to cause it to leak or anything.

The bottom bracket that bolts to the block and the bottom of the intake manifold. I think it may also be part of the IC pump holder but not sure.

I don't see that in the ZZP kit. I found it easier to just get what you need all at once from Jerry and for less $$

It's not in the ZZP kit. I also didn't know anything about the LSJ setup when I supercharged my car so I went with ZZP because I wanted to make sure I would get everything in one shot as I didn't know what I would need yet. Still had to source some parts. But it was also back when they had the option of buying a new M62 with the kit. It was convenient and worth it for sure.

I bought my m62 stuff in a used kit. Stage 3 Stuff. Also my car is ready to be started pretty much now that the single pass manifold is done. Had my boyfriends dad weld it. It’s not the prettiest but it works.

I think it looks pretty good. Aluminum is not easy to weld up pretty especially with that number of seams and having to be water tight. Did you put some low pressure on it and test it out?

Yes. It had one pen hole and we welded it last night so now it’s good to go.

Why did you go to the single pass setup?

Because single pass is far better than dual. Coolant only passes over the manifold one time so it doesn’t heat up as much since it’s not in there very long. And on the side it’s a modified stock endplate. There’s a guy that makes single pass manifolds now and the intake temps are insane.

And the inlet is now the passenger side that was welded.
