What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
Hoping tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm going here: RG PICK-A-PART
nice a decent amount of cobalts.... also holy **** that yard is huge. Id be down to go theres only 1 part that id potentially need but for a dollar and gas thats not to bad to give it a shot. wed i work 3-12 though
What part would that be? I have an interesting schedule this week. What's a better day for you?
lol its all good. i have one but it doesnt compress so whenever i need to be under the hood i just pop it on and off. not a huge deal but if i can get a working on that would be better. and im not totally sure if the one i have is even broken or it just wont work with the carbon hood

Nice man good luck I hope you enjoy the turbo
Mine holds but if wind picks up it will close the hood on me so I know I need a new one. I've been on the yunkyard so many times never remembered I need one lol

Been working on these side markers. I got the resistors in and left them hooked to my battery directly for 1-1.5hrs and they work like a charm. I just need more E-6000 to finish them off.

Removed my rack spacers, and volla, have a perfectly straight steering wheel again. If anyone has a crooked steering wheel, check your rack alignment before assuming you need an actual suspension alignment. I def drank the coolaid thinking I needed rack spacers. Sure the theory makes sense why you need them, but unless you are on coil overs or super low, you really shouldn't be experiencing bump steer. PA has the perfect roads to test bump steer to, lol.

My wheel has been crooked since i installed my rack spacers! Also got a bit of a pull where i need to usually hold my wheel to the right. Buut my whole subframe was out all winter so i think thats related. Haha

It's so nice have the wheel straight and spot on. Almost feels weird... I got so used to driving with the wheel crooked.
I pulled mine out when I had the subframe dropped weekend before last. No noticeable difference, given I'm on Powell YYZ v1 so not super low.
Adam did you lock the steering rack before dropping the subframe?

I'm not a fan of the washer style rack spacer OTTP uses now. My old rack spacers from OTTP were a nice square block of aluminum, and didn't screw up my steering wheel alignment like these did. I should have kept those, but thought I would never lower my car again, haha. Oh well, not needed in my case anyways.
