In Michigan.

I'm on top of a hill, on some clear days, from the right direction, you can see Detroit (and I'm like 30-40 miles from Detroit).

Just use self-tapping sheetmetal screws...

i didnt drill into my car, i just got some double sided tape and slapped the ballasts somewhere where it would fit.
i recommend that if you aren't handy with a drill lol

just dont put the ballast on a plastic surface because the tape will not stick

I put the bracket on mine and just held them in by putting the headlight housing brackets over top of them and tightening them down

Okay someone please tell me if I have this wrong, because I want to be right before I do this. I have third gen projectors. I sorted through all the nonsense in here and have this so far. The two wires coming out of the blue plug that normally power the low beam I use to power the ballast. By simply hooking up the negative to the neg and teh pos to the pos on the harness they gave me. Then that gets plugged into the ballast and then the ballast to the lights. Why is everyone saying I have to hook into the battery too? IO am very confused, could someone get me A diagram or a pic by pic of the wiring. I am very paranoid to ruin the wiring on my car. Also is the relay necessary? I keep getting mixed answers and no straight ones.

I have an HID kit in my stock housings and it was simple plug and play. No relay, and no outside tap into the battery.

I'm assuming that if you don't have projectors there is no cut off line with the type of HID's that the OP put on correct? So to avoid blinding other drivers does adjusting the headlight to point down help?

Also does anyone have any pics of what these types of HID's look like when on?

^ That looks great MP81

Thank you very much for your prompt response, you wouldn't happen to have a pic with your lights pointed at a wall or something would you, I wana get an idea of how high and how far they shine.

I was seriously debating on getting this 6000K kit from ZZPerformance http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=617&catid=144 (I think it will work on my 09 lol)
