The header is mild steel, the downpipe has a stainless option, but not the header.

In your case i would say yes, the TRI-Y header is a better design.

GP closes June 27th.

Call your order in by end of day Friday and we will give you until July 31st to pay.

Anyone and everyone else who has pre-ordered will be billed Monday as long as the funds are available.

We will ship in order of full-payment received.

All parts are bent for all orders. Assembly will begin next week.
Thanks again.

Also, on the Magnaflow converter option, give me a part # and I'll see what the cost is...

Questions about the header... Is this header able to be wrapped with the header heat wrap, or would it then get too hot and be likely to crack? I heard that some headers will warp and crack if they are wrapped. Anybody know about this info? Also does anyone know if the cat will hurt power? I live in PA soo I need to pass emissions. I'm assuming the cat will help make the exhaust less raspy... I will likely order today or tomorrow. Thanks!

With your order we will have 15 and everyone gets the 15 price plus shipping.

We have all the parts bent for confirmed orders. We have assembled a couple headers. Once the GP closes Friday we will have a total count and bend what's left. Assembly will start next week and only those orders, paid in full, will be shipped. However, we can not have all 15 ready to ship for at least a week. So, the holiday will have nothing to do with shipping as we will not have all orders ready until, starting, the end of next week.

Wow thats an awesome price for a header down pipe combo. I'm actually in the market for this right now. Havent been on the site for a while and came across this. Does this bolt right up to the gmpp exhaust? Does this give you more power at the higher rpms? Sorry can't scroll through the last posts too good because I'm looking at this from my phone.

Do NOT use header wrap. It will destroy the metal and we will NOT cover the header under warranty. Header wrap was made years ago for the racing industry in order to keep the heat inside the header and increase scavenging. Nothing better was available. Headers were used for one season and typically discarded. Ceramic coatings were then developed. They protect the metal because the coating is done inside and out. heat wrap is outside only, holds moisture and actually cooks the metal causing pre-mature fatigue and failure. Here's a picture of a set of ceramic coated headers a customer wrapped. Keep in mind this set was only on the car for 6 months. The metal was completely trashed. I was able to crush the collector with my hands. Heat wrapped headers are very easy to identify. Simply because the damage caused by heat wrap is un-like anything else out there.

Will bolt to the factory exhaust as well as any factory replacement exhaust.

15 HP and 15 lbs./ft. of torque at the wheels.

Dan, thank you for the speedy informative reply..!

Would it be recommended to apply a spray on coating to attempt to protect the header? Like one of the spray paint hi-temp ceramic containing ones? Or just leave it bare metal?

Also concerning the "velocity cone", is that standard feature? Or something that is additional in cost? What benefit does it provide?
