Not that I really need to add much to this thread, but I will throw this out there.. If Car and Driver can manage a 14.1 outta the SS/TC in stock trim, then I KNOW the car is good for at least a 13.8... They suck at life when it comes to driving, at least driving GM. Look at what they claimed for the SS/SC and what times people where getting out of those..

As far as his dyno numbers go.. I can't say that I truly believe those numbers, they are kinda high. BUT... The SS/SC's DID post higher numbers to the wheels then GM claimed to the motor. Also considering that the car pulled all the way through the powerband and didn't stop where GM claimed, I think it was around 5600 or something, could be wrong..

GM qouted it low to keep insurance rates down i think. Just cause my MS3 is rated 260/280 my policy went up. Im sure the same thing will be for the cobalt once insurance companies catch on and a couple of kids crash them at a high rate of speed.

I think he means that it's peak power was actually higher than what GM's ratings are... ie) 220@6500RPM instead of the rated 205HP@5600RPM,.

The no muffler - made just about 4 hp on the dyno.

I never said thats why im making power did i? all i said what was done to my car. ' at the current time'

More or less a little weight reduction and saved a few pounds.

One thing i do not understand.

Why are all you SC humpers in here?

This is about the lnf turbo cobalt for people that have the turbo cobalts.

Ummm... because considering recent events, it seem that the current Cobalt owners (05-07) are the only ones with enough brains in their head to know when some kid fucked with the dyno calibration (or what ever you did) to try to be an interwebz dyno queen.

OK - This is getting pretty funny -

Im gonna clear this up real quick with all the internet racers

If you dont have $ to put up with your replies & snappy ******* mouths ' keep your little mouth shut'

My TC vs anyone other TC on here that has been a internet thug.

$1,000 - 1/4 Mile

Either at Bandamiere in Colorado before june 15th
Or NYIRP in New York 18th - 25th

Of course most of you will keep yapping away / insecure and doubtfull on my #'s

Simple, lets do it @ the track for $1,000 ' ill even do 2 out of 3' if that makes you happy ' incase you miss a gear

* im not going to reply to this thread unless one of you agree to race your TC vs Mine ' ill check this thread tomm.

He either has N02 or has the BSR tuner. There simply is no other explanation to what the car was putting down.

Actually the car does look like it has been tuned already, especially compared to the other SS/TC dyno we saw last week. Do you guys remember how wavy that powerband was. This guys is almost perfectly smooth.

Im bitchin at both of them, because they are both drinkin the same coolaid.
are you drinkin it too?

how hard is this to ******* understand.
his numbers look BS to nearly every single person that sees them.

so take this ss/tc with thin filter and muffler delete to the track, and run 13.2 with it, and youll shut everyone up.
considering how much this guy talks up his track driving skills, im sure it wont be an issue.

but you all keep avoiding that like the plague....why is that?
need a few extra days to hook the juice up?

Like I said before, jeremi lives in Colorado. If HE goes to the track there thats great. He MOST definately will go to nyirp when he comes back to buffalo with the car in July. As far as hooking the bottle up......its BEEN in the car from what he tells me.....bet you wonder what kind of power that made right? Honestly, I could car less what it dynos/runs at the track, its crazy that people have enough interest in his car that its now a 17 page thread. Now I know why I never really posted alot here, and I was one of the first people to actually get their ss/sc on the board......

people only have interest because his numbers are bs for a stock tc with muffler delete.

and do i wonder what it would make with spray?
not really. because as others have said, thats probably exactly what the dyno is showing.

umm....am i understanding what your saying correctly? weight reduction gave you your power? weight reduction will not help you on a dyno...

sorry if i misread it, but thats how i took it.
