Hell, Shaganappi Chev Olds might even be convinced to dyno the Demo they've been given and maybe even take a few 1/4miles down at Racecity.........it's worth asking.

The calgary timmies meet has been a showNshine this year, ask "outtamymind" or any other CGY guys that go down there. I'd say it's an improvement from before, back in the day when ppl did street race from the other timmies i'd hear about accidents once in awhile but now I don't think there has been anything major.........but if racecity closes and nobody rebuilds..........u won't be able to keep the street racers off the street anymore. I'm trying to auto-x my hatchback sometime but haven't been able to find time/resources to goto a sunday session. Once i get my new keys I will be doin a few 1/4 miles times just for the sake of having the slip/video of it.

no but bandimere deff is, ill say that is one of the worst prepped tracks, even with awd ill spin on the launch more than usual, so i could only imagine what its like in a front or rwd car with street tires

 

obviously he's an ok driver, not the best, but certainly ok if he eeked out a 14.0 @ 101, that's better than 90% of the SS/SC guys on here that trap that same speed.

Only reason he thinks hes good is because he's dealing with mainly cobalt ss/sc's and he knows its not easy for them to get over 280-300 whp. Trying to scare everyone with dyno numbers and 14.0 times. Gimmie a break. I'll call that bluff.

I dont think it was nitrous. I still think it was a problem with the dyno/poorly calibrated. Just go get it dyno'd somewhere else already! Its not that expensive!

It could very well be that the PCM upped the power to compensate for altitude, making it run at 260tq even at that alt...

and then on top of that, mr Dyno operator calibrated SAE and bumped it up AGAIN, when in truth, it wasnt needed.

Im almost certain, that the SAE UN-corrected numbers, would show a peak tq around 260.
