That's with the big turbo. On the stock turbo, it would hit 20psi as quick as I could get the pedal to the floor.

4. This is now the programmed launch control setting
This sounds like a great way to adjust for track conditions without having to flash a new file to the ECM.

all the hp all the time may not be the best for getting a tc out of the hole
X2. Just like removing Torque management from 1st gear. Nothing but wheelspin at anything above 50% throttle. Power is great but putting it down is the problem. 50% torque for me in 1st.
Well here is my problem. I go to the drag scene a lot (I only race at the track) and as many know the traction at the track is insane so I have found myself having to launch the car at 4.5k rpm without launch control because of this. So for track use TCS is not your best friend. I understand that for street use TCS is your best pal and I agree that the launch control used outside the track is a win but at the track it just does not work. BTW I did not know that our cars had limited torque in 1st gear!!! does pushing the traction control for 5 secs gets rid of this feature?

No, but it is adjustable in the tune. 50% is still a bit much for mine on the street, I may try 45% next time I tweak the tune. 40% was too little.

I set it to 100% for a day just messing around, 1st was totally useless.

Stock is a tapered curve in 1st. Around 58%? I forget.

I set mine in the 70's at the track and seems to work well. I still get a ton of spin if I just flat foot it, but thats why there is a gas pedal instead of a gas switch.

The turbo timer idea is brilliant, I'd love to see that.
