maybe the rev limiter could be lowered to aid with hookup but as far as function it works the same, must turn it on and once on the move it switches to just esp off mode. the function is in the bcm and cannot be deleted or changed, at least yet....someone could get mad and figure something out eventually im sure.

So I traded my G5 in for the 09 ss/tc. The dealership said it was completely stock but I noticed I was getting 20-22 psi instead of the 17ish I've researched from stock. So I then found the GM sticker under the hood with the part number. I then googled the number (#19212670), which is the LNF upgrade kit. Which is good because it's under warranty. Now lets say I want the ZZP DP, an air intake and charge pipes. Now would this ruin the warranty? Would I have to get a tune if I put those bolt ons on?

This thread is 5 years old and dead. start a new one if you have questions, or search for the answer. As far as that ruining your warranty, that completely depends on your local dealership's service technicians.

jg nailed it...all of the above could potentially ruin your warranty. Maybe do a little research in your area to see if there are any mod-friendly dealerships if you are worried about it. Or wait till next year when your powertrain coverage is up before you go nuts.

Even though legally that may be true, unless you have a cheap lawyer, you will have a tough fight with a dealership if something fails and you have an intake and downpipe.
But with that being said, you can switch them out before taking in for warranty work and they won't know the difference.
