Upgrade from GM coming soon!
I'll only post this once with NO references (it's up to you to look it up).
Rev matching is much better on the turbo and allows for better boost building capabilities, easier on the turbo, and easier on the transmission than brake boosting...
But I'm an srt owner so I may just spew

REV matching... Who in the hel heard of such a thing; NOT me....
Me too. Alot of other people, including myself, are hoping that GM releases some info @ SEMA. They're going to be releasing a lot of info for the Camaro, hopefully they don't forget about us LNF enthusiasts!

should help answer your questions
GMPD confirmed 315hp but I honestly didn't ask about tq numbers when I had them on the phone at the dealership. I was simply hyped up about them confirming the kit exists and is coming by spring. I wonder if any bolt ons will be revealed at SEMA, GM has been very quiet about their performance parts...
with the driver mod.......very low 13s, now for the guys running 14.30s right now, then yeah, I can see mid 13s... but with 30-40 more whp, i'd hope some of the guys in the high 13s already would be able to pick up more than a few 1/10ths, lol
I don't really all that care about the 1/4 mile, as I don't race all that much anymore, most of my racing are just quick little pulls on the highway, in which, I look forward to the extra power...

haha i know i just got really excited thought i'm talkin about people actually giving us the respect we deserve especially evo drivers who think their cars can whoop anything on the road, it'll be nice to see cobalt comin up and whoopin some ass getting some respect with it too
For those of us that do more road courses than strip racing, I'm curious about how the extra hp and tq will be handled by the LSD and affect the car's drivability/balance in the corners (in reference to tq steer). Obviously the added power is beneficial in the straights, but anyone have any comments or projections on how the extra ponies will affect corner exiting?

The LSD is the same LSD as the LSJ Cobalt's which is a Quaife Unit. Quaife units are one of the best in the market. In the Honda world, guys are using Quaife Units for 900+ WHP FWD cars that are running full blown slicks without any issues. As long as you don't have traction you won't cause any damage to your transmission / axles / clucth. Soon as you hookup real good one of those will give out

considering it was just leaked a few weeks ago, the part numbers are already in place, as well as the warranty information, I don't see it getting canceled, seems they've invested too much time in it now...
