I wonder what all the doubters and shoot-the-kit-release-downers will say if the kit is released? Will they just stop looking at the threads? Will they say "Whatever, I have more power from my tune" and walk away?

I don't get why anyone would make comments like "Get over it, it's not coming out". Don't shoot people with hope down unless you are 100% sure of your claim and have hard evidence of it. No need for that kinda thing.

im still gonna wait for the GM setup because of all the map revisions AND sensors. And with DI, I definetly want a properly engineered tune vs, some a tuner changing a couple WOT desired air load tables and thats it... 700 revisions 18 visible in HPtuners....

chris from hp tuners has found the coding involving the overboost code and is finding injection codes and controlls for extreme situations so if the stage kit isnt released then hpt will make plenty of power for you. also chris has been asked to look into the coding for changing pressure sensors so eventually we shouuld be able to just buy sensors and tune our way instead of the whole gm kit.

what happened to the first quarter of 09

 

I guess something else took priority over the Turbo Upgrade Kit. They do have a lot going on right now at GM. But if Tom at Crate Engine Depot said it's coming just be patient. It WILL get here. I have great faith in Tom.

Technically late spring is still first quarter...or not. Depending on what is meant by "late spring". If that is "late spring" in Australia we are screwed and still have a year to go, since Australia is heading into fall now.. Also, when GM mentioned first quarter 09 did they mean first fiscal quarter 09? That doesn't necessarily line up with calendar first quarter.

 

Everything in the business world runs on their fiscal quarter...so they did mean it would be out by the end of March...but I wouldn't be surprised if they miss this deadline....as long as it is still coming...come on GM....
