Ill make a thread wen mine is running...mine is a long rod 2.4..the longer rod gives the piston more leverage over the crank.

nope, credit cards.

you said you dont know where to start? Start by getting a block sleeved and bolt it to an engine stand. Start buying as you build the block. Took me forever this way but it was a heck of a ride, learned a lot.

Gather round gather round update time!

LNF shifter bracket installed, here is the difference

Sub frame dropped

Oooo hey whats this??

Got to the promised land

Good ol trans

Gotta get the right size socket to get the clutch off, then I'll have the flywheel resurfaced. Then it will be time to put back together
I have progress pictures of my head I will post up later tonight, I am out of time right now. Enjoy

that shifter cable bracket made a huge difference. Got rid of the spongy feeling, going through the gears.

your garage is carpeted? That wouldnt last in my shop. lol

stock feels like you are bouncing the pattern off of a rubber bouncy ball, with the LNF shifter cable bracket it feels like the shifts click and stick.
