I picked up 28hp just off the head upgrade, best bang for my buck yet in a single item hp increase.

such a silly comment, Mr B not sure if you do it just to create a disturbance or whatever I dont care much. Folks can do the math.
Fact is: GMR head went for 1000 dollars in the beginning in 2006 up to around 1500 at the end. This is what you got:
now price the head and all the new parts.
Right.
fact is, you cant get them anymore and thats unfortunate. but dont for the moment think it wasnt the best value in town, because it was.

- a completely new head
- cnc ported exhaust to a proven profile only available to GM.
- new valves, new springs keepers ,rockers, lifters, cams etc
- all brand new and all complete and assembled.

I posted my mods and details on page 5 of this thread. Didn't realize it was the same thread when I made my post today. And didn't mean to get Mr B's panties in a bunch...again lol. Fact is I've quite happy with my gmr head and I got a great price on it from Powell, especially if you consider how rare they are now.

Hey guys.... I havent worked on the car since Friday.
Today after work, I'll be swaping over my supertech springs and cams from my stock head to the GMR head. After the new T-stat arrives, I'll be installing the head & timing components.
I work on her for about an hour or so each day after work. It's been a very busy year for me.
I do have a lot of nice photos that I promise Ill get posted, but for now, enjoy this pic of my clean block & pistons
Meh.
